I have a fairly old Hitachi and get unreadable disc with the new dashboard :/


downloaded game -> unpack -> ppf-o-matic3 -> select the game -> select the patch v14-15.ppf -> burned -> tried to patch with the game did not work offline -> removed the dvd -> connect the x360 to the internet -> Patch online -> put the dvd back into the 360, and done.

I cant connect the Xbox to the internet though. Im banned.

Plus the Xbox is already patched as I used the update from the first disc I burnt.

if u have hitachi older than 50 series u are set, otherwise u are fooked sorry

Can you tell me what exactly you did to make it work? My brother has a old Samsung ms28 and it still shows disc unreadable.
It has old ass iX 1.2.1, lol. So well, patched to wave 2 burned. And works like a charm. But as c4eva said, its pretty much random if it will boot up on sammy or not. That part didnt really make sense to me, but well it works Very Happy

Ok apparently I have an Hitachi v79 with iXtreme 1.51 firmware. So I'm fooked then? lol. I might try patching it anyway. I've already wasted 2 discs lol.

If this works I won't even have to burn the iso again and waste another disc! Smile

Still doesn't work for me, i have newest dashboard, ixtreme 1.4, patched the wave of the game as i usually do and I have a samsung drive but it keeps giving me the "Unrecognized disk" error. Burned the game twice also. As i dont play on live is it possible for me to downgrade my FW to extreme firmware that will play every disc, there is a FW like that right? Once again I dont care about live. Cheers Smile

Is there a possibility they make some kind of activation disc or patch or smthn..Im willing to use that crap as long as I can play.Im just asking,cause it's very difficult to find someone to flash for me with upcoming LT+ in my my country..soo..is there a chance for this ? Smile

and this game works for me,want me to test nfs also guys?i have a verry old xbox and a verry old fw,one of the first that was out,not stealt fw,and i never patch my games with abgx of other programs.

u probably need to patch it to wave 2 and u will need to update your dash to see if it works, u not loosing anything if it won't work tho

damn, im so fucking stupid. Corrupted my gamerprofile by swapping HDD to the other 360. And no point in recovering as iv earned LOTS of achievements offline since I was banned Sad

Open "CON Flag Remover"

* Click "Open Profile". Browse for the file you just got in Xplorer360.
* Click "Remove Flags".

Open "Xbox 360 Hash Block Calculator"

* Click "File>Open"
* Open the file you just removed CON Flags From
* Click "Tools>Calculate Hash Blocks"

Insert the usb stick in the x360, have the x360 configure it, move profile, unplug from x360, plug it in the PC, open xtaf (File>open drive), copy profile to desktop, delete profile from usb stick, do the above to uncorrupt, copy uncorrupt profile back to stick, insert usb stick back in the x360, move to HDD. Works every time and it works great!

BTW the game is released for PS3 and works fine on 3.41.... Just install the 1.0.1 update, it's 3.30 so no problem !

uncorrupt a corrupt profile is quite easy ; playing an AP 2.5 game is NOT! PERIOD!

Just to let you know that for owners of Benq Drives that have Ixtreme 1.51 :

- Just patch the .iso image with 3rd.Wave.Mod.Patch.For.iXtreme-TL / ppf-o-matic3.exe
- Burn image
- Update to latest Fall 2010 Kinect/dashboard

- XBOX Live (Might eventually get you banned)
- If you are banned and dont give a fuck about it, here : http://www.xbox.com/en-US/Support/UpdateSteps
Eather by USB or burnt cd/dvd.

- Install update and voilà!!

Game loads up and ready to play, no more update needed Very Happy

Now out to get NFS!!

so there are workarounds for benq, hatchi and maybe Samsung drives..i have the first series of lite-on drives that were used.. so am i SOL till new FW comoes out.. i dont give a dick about LIVE. just wanna play it. need a workaround for liteon drive.
