(You can open the file and check yourself with any SQL library browser if I remember correctly, same method as how you obtained the bonus codes for Drakensang 1 though those differed depending on game edition whereas these remained identical.)

Yeah unfortunately it seems they'll do MMO like stuff from now on as people said after these latest news of their financial problems and purchase by this other company whom apparently specialize in the free-2-play MMO market and casual browser games or such, things were going pretty well with Drakensang for Radon Labs though but I guess the divided release schedules and related issues caused these problems with funding and overall sales and the status of the latest title (The expansion to River of Time.) was apparently rather below par and a bit rushed as well, perhaps as a result of that.
(Haven't played River of Time much yet but from what I've read it's a good game if perhaps a bit short.)

Is the original game good compared to this one? I know it's longer, but i mean is it as intricate, with the same numbers and crafting and etc? or Will playing this one make me disappointed in the former one?

I don't know how intricate the crafting was in the first one since I don't remember it clearly (so I guess it wasn't anything special), but the original was definitely better in most aspects. The only thing this sequel excels in is the technical side. The engine is smoother and the graphics are definitely better.

Well, dont know about you, but im sad i hadnt installed this before, having a blast!
Character creation:You can do all the crafting has the first one, inclusive choose a profession.The advanced chars creation is a bit more complex because this time you can subtract 2 original traits (advantages and disavantages) and receive points. Exemple: My Battlemage had after i assigned all the points, charisma of 12. I choosed the disavantage of "ugly" wich subtracts 1 charisma point, but received more 151 points to spend on talents, then i choosed to be a complet disaster on brawling (not planning to fight with bare-hands), receiving more 25 points, then i choosed the last option, one advantage astral energy, wich gave me 10 more base points of astral energy. So its good, spende about 2 hours just playing with the stats. 
GFX: Greaat. A little better than the previous, even.
Story: Amazing, haw its so well woven into the first with forgrimm starting to tell to the rogue chick, how started the voyage wich led to the death of Ardo (wich u allready know from the first), and how he lost is beard
Gameplay deph: The same, this sure aint for derps !
Replayability: Îm guessing so, for one it plays very diferently per main char, second you got to choose almost in the beguinning, between 2 party chars...and its irreversible.
God this is too long. Gona play more, ive got a ship now!
