I just booted steam, only update was to steam itself it seems, my cod bo's are still ready to play nothing updating so no idea what that was about or who said it.

I did a verification, didnt really pay attention but in the end it said Steam has finished downloading COD bla bla .. but not sure if it actually was a patch or something
God damn it first there is the lag and now I cant connect to any server

server browser has gone tits up again yes.. i just closed the game i cant be dealing with that slow ass browser stuff today, it just means if there is problems there you can bet u will have problems on the server u get on as well.. pfft...
is it just me or do other people here find it impossible to actually join a server - i right click and hit join server button - nothing. have to try like 1000000x times
This sucks, really. I can't even play now. Yesterday I got every 2mins after joining servers I got DC. Now I can't even join. What a fail. No betas... sure...

To those who finished the game, was the story really that hard to follow? I beat the game, and I found the story to be better than most CODs and pretty easy to follow. It is complete nonsense and American flag waving till no end, but at least those conspiracy theories were entertaining to me. The story was the ONLY reason why I finished the game since i found the SP gameplay boring, and very cookiecutter.
I am asking this because people on consoletrailers complained that the story was confusing, and not really being sure who are you playing as (character hopping).
I thought it was clear as day who you were playing as since it was so in your face with the introductions, plus then you were referred as that person, in addition to your character having a voice.
