If your Samsung is spoofed to another drive, it won't work. Tried it on mine which was spoofed into Liteon...

Ok if i have LiteOn drive and firmwire 1.6 and buy the original realese can i play the game then?

Game wont work by patching period
game will only work on sammy if its the original drive that came with the system (AP2.5 checks OSID)
LT+ is being tested this weekend and is coming very soon. Sopke to c4eva on #fw earlier and this is what he told me. (comfirmed it boots AC BH)

contradicting yourself a bit there! im on an older firmware with samsung drive and always patch my games to run - i have updated my dash and fable 3 works fine, as does this.
people with newer firmwares etc shouldnt be putting out blanket statements on here and elsewhere saying it wont work whatever you do. its not the case.

As I understand it, only if the console had a samsung drive from the beginning. I don't even know if the console will work if you don't spoof. But cev4 said MS will know if you swap your drive...

well i got old hitachi drive and i just flashed my key from benq that system came with and i can boot all games except for fable3 and acb

I have a 360 manufactured in 2006 with a hiatchi running iextreme 1.51 with the latest dashboard and the game works fine.
So far i'm really enjoying it but it does feel like assassins creed 2.5.
However...
 Spoiler: | You lose all your stuff at the start (weapons, gold, armour).. I was like 
It's quite fun riding around Rome on a horse though but the horse mechanics aren't great around narrow alleys.
There are restricted areas where you have to go in and kill the leader then burn a watch tower. That allows you to "renovate" buildings, the more buildings you renovate the more gold you get every 20 mins (it's deposited into a bank after you renovate one)

I have lite on ( LT 1.1 ) with old dash,I had to see it with my own eyes..I burned ACB,inserted the disc..ACB logo appeared and when I started it,update question appeared...and I didn't update it  so I guess I just wasted a Verb. I really wanted to play AC this weekend..

hey jamieA11 so updating your dashboard doesn't let assassins creed 3 to work?
all other games work patching to wave 3 including fable 3
not assassins creed 3 what can i do?

That's why they called it ACB and not AC3... it's more like an expansion.
If I remember right AC3 will take place in the future.
