Yes. Patching removes the update and allows your FW to accept the disc, but the game still asks for update

wave2 is for 1.4 - that's what I have. I'm not updating until i see a bit more information on this topic.

i have a lite-on with 1.51 Ixtreme. So when i update to the latest dash and patch the game to wave 3 is it playable?
Btw do older games which i have patched to wave 3 still work?

ok, patched it to wave2 on my liteon with fw 1.5 and it is not working...disc is unreadable...and by the way, it killed fable 3 too...soo

Yup can confirm to, Old dash upgraded with game to kinect dash.
FW1.51 no games booting anymore(i didn't forget the bootdisc)
Even fable3 won't boot anymore for me.

I think it must depend on the drive, benq and hitachi seem to be able to boot everything.

You can always get a samsung drive and spoof your 360.
But c4e will release a new firmware (LT+) soon that will fix the ap2.5.

So I have a BenQ drive..already been banned for over a year..updated to the new Kinect Dashboard(So I can play my Kinect games) the only game that does NOT work for me is Fable 3..is there a way to make this game and Assassin's Creed work or do I have to wait for a new firmware flash update in order for it to work? Since Im banned I really have nothing to lose by trying different methods, would just like these ap25 games to work..thanks

If you want to play right now your only option is to buy a spare samsung drive on ebay. If you have few weeks than wait for LT+ for your drive.

Why isn´t there a patch for banned consoles.....i "patch " the wave.....why can´t we patch the ap2.5 out to work with the kinect dash?

If I buy a Samsung drive on Ebay, then I can play all of my games including Fable? I have the latest dashboard update so that has nothing to do with it right? So doing this will not harm the XBOX in anyway? I guess Id rather do that then go and flash the drive, since I did not flash my drive originally anyway and have no idea how to do it myself..rather replace a drive then find some person to flash it for me

When you replace the drive with a samsung you need to spoof it. You first need to get your original key from your liteon drive. Than using JungleFlasher you spoof your samsung with your liteon key. Than you can play anything on the new dash because samsung (and hitachi) drive is not compatible with the new 2.5 check.

Oh, I thought I just had to replace the drive and thats it..this sounds even harder then I thought..so there is no other way? I was reading somewhere about taking a disc and popping it into the drive and then putting in Fable that might work?
I guess I will either have to wait for a different method to come out or wait for the new flash to come out and find someone to do it for me
