Did the quest for Alma or whatever her name is to heal the sickly horse, rode around for a bit, left it somewhere to go explore the island. Now trying to progress the quest some guy wants me to do a timed race, but my horse is somewhere on the isle and I cant find the fucking thing anywhere. Is it possible to get a new horse at this point? Running around spamming H is a pain in the arse!!

There are horses parked at certain camps, a Varn camp towards the bottom of the island area with a harbor town has one for example, it's just near the road so easy to see.

2 questions i cant seem to find an answer to.
1) is there a way to turn off the motion blur for only when your running.
2) is there a way i can create a autoexec type file to run a bunch of commands at the start. ( i know you could with the first game)

put a "Parameters" folder in your installation directory and then put the autoexecgame2.con into that folder , make sure the .con file has the engine.HDR 0 line put in

Auto aim is only for enemies on (current weapon) range, after that it's free aim (well that they said on reviews).

Or just use sniper mode (press 'X').
lolozaur: did you put any points into the backstab skill or w/e it's called? I'm at rank 1 and can't seem to backstab those furries.
Is it just me or do two-handers kinda suck? I mean their damage is sweet, but you swing so slowly it leaves you open to attack all the time, whereas with 1hander/dualwield you can just smash away and the opponent is constantly forced to either block or just get hit (this against varns mainly, haven't fought much else after upping strength). My 2h axe's speed is 107% so it can't be that either.

I stabbed them without putting points in it. Maybe it's the dagger damage that matters?

So far I like the game.
But i am not seeing this thing being "well optimized" or "running well".
So far it feels really clunky. it isn't stutter or the like. . . it just doesn't feel fluid at all.
The interface is pretty meh.
I also had some kind of error after saving my game, my guy's head turned this weird shade of red while his body remained flesh toned. So now he is really strange to look at in the cut scenes and what not. Hopefully i find a helmet soon.
The voice acting is a lot better than the first game (still not great though but tolerable). And I am having fun with it despite the issues above.
1 stripe purple belt in JiuJitsu (good grief this takes FOREVER hahah)

I'm still enjoying game. Farsooth, I think those writing the game off may be judging it too hastily. Not sure if I should restart in hard difficulty.
I have found some odd things and minor annoyances but nothing major. Changing from bow back to sword, I don't wield the shield again so I have to manually wear it. I also don't like how animals seem to get guaranteed hits. I would like to increase the draw distance. I see buildings/boulders appearing off in the distance.
The closeup graphics are great. Distant horizon, not so much. I hope they do an expansion as they fully intended to do with the first game.

Games running pretty flawlessly here with settings all on max.
Anyways, will there be a way to play this game on LAN over Hamachi/Tunngle? Cuz this game just seems like it'd be badass to play with some friends.
Network requires an account to be made, which you obviously can't make with a keygenned cd-key.

I found one camp where I couldn't backstab them. Seemed like a minor bug. I would slash with the blade instead of getting the kill cutscene animation. It was on the small start island where that happened.
