Loved the last game for its multiplayer but this one is slower, the graphics have gone downhill and they haven't added anything new at all. They even used the same intro! Massive disappointment

Playing it in pal on a pal box
The original came out priced at about 29 quid, if they think they can charge another 29 quid for adding a few more cars then they is shockingly mistaken....

ok right whatever, i meet some friends every sat and for a good few months now we've been hammering each other at the original mashed. We heard about fully loaded coming and got quite excited at the prospect of it. So last week we slap fully loaded on, played it for 10 mins and put the original mashed back on.
I'll say it again - It is not as good! You don't need the new cars, hammerhead and banshee are all u need. The game felt slower, we all hated the way after each point it zooms in on the winning car (which looks plain awful). They added info after u pick up a weapon on screen which blocks the view of your car and wasn't needed cos it's not exactly difficult to figure out which weapon u got. Cars can even get stuck on walls which is something I never saw on the original. They have also made the game a lot quicker to hand out points - gone are the multiplayer moments when you're right at the top of the screen with 2 missile locks chasing and the last guy chucking mortars at you for ages, which is where the original is absolutely brilliant.
I have seen the release dates for mashed 2, it seems as if fully loaded has been stuck together quickly to bankroll the sequel which is gonna do more harm than good.
You've all spoken to me as if i know nothing about the game - so so wrong. we will be giving it one more chance this weekend after a bit of car unlocking but i doubt it will improve our interest. I really really hope supersonic get it right with mashed 2.

apologies if you took any offence man, I'd played the original to death in multi and single player completed the single player as you probably did too from the sounds of things. I guess I didn't pick up on the major differences because it was one of those that went into the xbox played the first 3-4 levels and then went back to the months big releases.
Can you answer me this Bigdrugbaron? On the first game there was a challenge level in single player mode that I just couldnt seem to beat no matter how hard I tryed - a one on one race against a computer opponent on an icy/snowy track with no shortcuts and no possible way of overtaking the other car because he just seemed too fast and didnt make any mistakes at all. Is that some sort of game bug, did you manage to win the race that im referring to?
