Spoiler: | Hello-
I've generally been the sort that says if I don't have any information it's best to not say anything, but that can get translated incorrectly as being disinterested.
When people are upset, they want answers. When someone from Treyarch replies, but doesn't have answers I have found it just makes them more upset.
This is the truth. As I have said, I'm not totally sure what is going on yet. I am not in the office. I am travelling for work. I can only gleam bits and pieces from various email aliases I am on (and I am not on every alias as it's too much email especially for mobile device when traveling).
I know that Customer Support has been collecting information and trying to sort out the legit reports from the many people who don't meet the system requirements by collecting dxdiags and the like.
I know that the PC server browser was crushing the back-end. At first, queries were restricted and some caching was added to offset the high-load. This should be much better now, if not fixed outright.
I've asked for more information but don't have it yet. Probably because they are all super busy trying to work everything out.
Unfortunately, I am going to have to step on a plane this afternoon and will be out of service for no less than 15 hours. No doubt JD_2020 or the board admins will keep you informed as well as they can and are instructed.

You know, what i've never heard is a developer saying, that "We will have some bumps at launch, but no worries we will work around the clock smoothing them out for you guys, because we care, thats what we do WE CARE!"
Instead we have this "Vahn" person, some fool, who is even admitting that he knows nothing about whats going on, that he isnt even at work, but he's sure that the guis at office, lol geez i meant the lolcustomer service, are on top of things. Sure they are.
The game is a mess for most on the pc, sp mp whatever you have. And a beta test, as you claim, might not solved all the issues, but sure would be a nice touch.
Even that colossal pile of horse shit MoH had betas.
Dont tell me a beta wouldnt be helpful for them -not for us, them- to to deliver a more polished product. But the fact is they just dont give a shit anymore about the PC, when consoles are concerned as well.
The general attitude toward the pc community is just "Fuck em, if they wanna spend money on it, let them."
So no beta, no demo, all we have is xbox demonstrations and interwievs where they talk about zombies, facepaints, clantags on guns, rose-colored aimpoints and all that bull-shit.
Im pissed, man. And im pissed some more of Treyarch, beacuse they had a shot here to be bigger than IW.
Whatever IW fucked up, neglected, lied about etc. they could've prove that can do the right way, having a proffessional oldschool pc approach, whatever, if IW fucked it up, we fixed it.
Hah! So far, Bull-shit. The PC is left behind, again.
Cheap, lame, sub-par, and it stinks.

If i have a key which I bought through steam (which is currently downloading the client) and I already have the Skidrow release installed with none of the crack applied, is there no way to get Steam to recognise that as the client and allow me to play or do i need to grab the whole thing again?

Another update on GAMEBUYERS:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just leave here a stokp mail, he is busy right now by phoning the issue of keys and asked to put it in some forums, that you serve a bit of information:
I am yet to have them today, I'm doing everything possible, I have to present a paper over to customs, I'll have to fax the company sent me the games (in customs asked me the information of the company that sends me and a copy of your import copy of the contract I have with them) I hope you send me and everything, and can pick the games, not as you imagine the customs paperwork for businesses to import much less what it's disgusting the Russian bureaucracy.
I have thought tonight if I have not yet European keys offer a bonus discount of 5 € for each unit of the game.
Russian or have the key (those if I have a lot of availability) and a bonus of 15 €
Russian key lifetime warranty give, give data server so that you have IP podais Russian and activate without problems on your own without having to give anyone your information on steam
greetings
Especially if you ask understanding, I am also waiting for a key European GAMEBUYERS but this series of customs and others did not arrive on time. No desesperemos por favor. Please do not despair.

I must agree with Twinny on this one. MoH is much more better, its only negative point being the lenght of the single player campaign for me. Sorry Sabin, I know you're mad at me right now, but this game it's really bad. At first I thought that the franchise finally went up, since CoD 2 was the last good CoD, from that on the franchise just went down. Sure, it's pretty enjoyable, it has a lot of nice moments, but it really isn't a good game, but a pretty bad one. Still, I'm going to finish the single player campaign and about the multiplayer... I just don't care, never did.

Quote: | Rumor: Sledgehammer's Call of Duty Takes Place in Space, Future
We already knew Sledgehammer Games was working on a Call of Duty title for Activision, but details have been light. When will it take place?
In a Gamasutra report, Chris Morris explains that "industry sources say Sledgehammer's Call of Duty will be set in the future and feature, for lack of a better term, space Marines, a very big step for a franchise that has historically based itself on realism."
Originally announced as an action-adventure title, the Sledgehammer game will be a first-person shooter in the franchise according to its website. Whatever the game is, Activision will be investing heavily in it and other Call of Duty titles, according to statements made on its most recent earnings call.
Sledgehammer Games is run by Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, who both left Electronic Arts and Visceral Games to form Sledgehammer for Activision.

You should lay off the pipe if you think MoH is better than BO...
I haven't played SP but I rarely care about that shit in FPS games and in MP BO is far beyond MoH:T1 that it's not even funny...
Shit, if it weren't for MW2 not getting dedis even that would have been better than MoH.
The only thing MoH did in MP that was good was making tubes and nades situational and not something random noobs would spam, but that's it.

This command little bit fixing lag spikes.. atleast for me..
Open console and write this \rate 5000 . Also launch the game, back to desktop, in task manager set the priority of steam.exe to low not the blackopsmp.exe + close the steam gameoverlay/ingame chat.

What? For your knowledge, I don't have any stuttering, the game works just fine for me and as I said I don't care about the multiplayer part of the game.

No, it wasn't better. For me it was the worst CoD ever (don't know about 3 because I didn't played it), I didn't even finished it, that's how bad it was for me. I remember yesterday that someone said that CoD WaW had perfect performance. Again, no, it doesn't have that. It was stuttering like hell for me, couldn't activate AA because the fps dropped at "picture after picture" state, same when there was some smoke. And no, those are not the things that made me to uninstall the game before I even finished it. It was the game itself, it was one of the most boring games I ever saw, same shit that I played years ago, recycled mostly from Pacific Assault. And I say again, MoH is much more better than this. I always liked the MoH games more. It's not hollywood shit all over the place to impress people only with some scenes.

What the hell?? So if I play just SP it will lag or is it just lagging for a group of people?
1 and 2 are still amazing.

You are still wrong if you think MoH is better than BO. have you completed both? have you seen the review sites? You are in a massive minority.
