The post-processing is nice but certain paler surfaces reflect the bloom/hdr effect strongly so the desert is quite bright, the subtle depth of field and motion blur effect also masks the far away low detail landmass a lot but keeps framerate close to 100 at times (Often at 50 - 70 average), as this is just the DX9 version AA is only semi-working at "1x" via some effect instead of proper MSAA or the like but I find it quite good looking nevertheless.
(AF seems a bit wonky with how blurry distant terrain can be, might be similar to how Crysis handled that as both use similar parallax mapping techniques.)

Will be interesting to test the game under DX10 if a future update unlocks this or if it'll be DX11, we'll see, haven't found any bugs yet.

(Also as part of the bonus codes posted above I found the labyrinth person with a group of gamblers near that weapon vendor in the last image.)

Must be a stronger key system, offline activation is possible though (Phone) so the same keygen method should be fully doable, no other protection either which keeps it compatible with future updates.
(MP uses it along with your account and such so that won't work I imagine but SP features most of what you can see in MP, unsure about the village stuff though, still only level 7 and nowhere near the 10000 gold/aura required to have a village, been busy maintaining and updating armor and weapons, you can gamble and play instruments and such in SP as well but I only have a flute at the moment and more is needed for the music sheets I've found.)

Just below 6 GB for the full multi-5 version, highly compressed XAct DirectX API audio files and WD game data archives so don't be too fooled by the comparably small size when installed, world map is pretty large as seen in that image posted somewhere showing it. Smile
(As comparison Two Worlds 1 was a similar size and had a huge amount of things to do in it even if the main story wasn't that big, same with say Oblivion, Gothic 3, Fallout 3 and the like at around 4 - 6 GB each.)

Cracking games like COD, because, obviously we do not have enough FPS flooding the market yet!

It's really large. The game word is 60 Sq Km (of walkable land, not counting where you can sail / swim) which is around 30% bigger than the original TW. The original had a very large and very varied map, felt much bigger than Oblivion at least to me.

Really great game so far, i hope they will release an editor, that could make it just as big as the TES games.

Glad its not cracked yet, means more sold copies every minute, which i think they deserve Wink

Haha, I could kill him but I'm keeping a low profile for now, have a quest active already that might see me past the gate without bashing his brain in. Razz

A lot of creatures in the desert, rhino, baboon, ostrich, cheetah and some warthog thing, all very hostile if approached but a good source of organs (alchemy stuff.)

EDIT:

Yeah this is one of the few non-MP only games that I actually changed my mind about leeching, and bought it as soon as I saw some forum regulars saying it was worth the money, with the proxy.

I wonder how this compares to New Vegas?

Do you know, if the digital version can be installed on 2 pc's simultaneously? We are thinking about splitting the pay with my roommate...

Question to those that have it and I don't know if it can be answered or not.

I am giving serious thought to going ahead and buying this even though i live in the US using the proxy trick.
What I am wondering about is how the MP works. You think i will have trouble playing MP with my friends here in US if I buy the version from the UK? I did this with a PS3 game (Demon Souls) and I could not play with my US buddies because I was stuck using servers from elsewhere.
I also am wondering about patches and such.

This game is GREAT, loot is awesome, animations are good, land is vast, very open-ended.

Menu's and UI are top-notch IMO.

UI is too big. Agree with everything else Wink (ok, animations in cut scenes are a bit stiff at times).
