Buenas noches,

I'd like to know this too. g2play is too expensive with its 48 euro, as I can buy the game with a case for 40-42 euro. I'm looking for something < 40 euro.

Yes, if you want to take it away in the way you would explain it to a 5 year old. Then yes. The game takes place during the Cold War. NATO vs Warsaw pact. Soviets and Americans are constantly having proxy wars with eachother, and constantly spying, and sabotaging eachother.

It looks stupid now, but back then both countries were fighting for control of outer space. Preventing either from reaching space is a huge deal.

Yea it's a good game.

But is it just me or do anyone agree that the story was kinda crap. Half-baked, trying-to-be-so-cool, really foreseeable B-movie like. I mean this is supposed to be an AAA title, I really expected it to be a lot more. Sure there are some neat levels, but the SP package as a whole is a slight let down. Blah, the target audience was teenagers I suppose.

I finally got the multiplayer working when I set Steam process priority to low. Somehow I just like battlefieldish team play more that requires both tactics and shooting skills. But again, not bad.

For me it only stutters during playing movies(any fix for that?), gameplay is rather smooth 30+ fps-but still the fps number is too low for such shitty graphics. Pc specs. e6420 3.4 and ati 5850. Im getting too old for this type of game cause after playing two mission i think that the game is nothing special(im not talking about multi-which sucks anyway

BlackOPs is definitely more arcadish/hollywoodish and high on action more so then MW series but you guys need to keep in mind that Trytech's games have always had a bit more spunk to them compared to Infinity Ward's games.. for the noobs out there.. there are two developers for these COD games. Treytech and Infinity Ward.... IW seems to be a tad better with these COD games but BlackOps is fun and enjoyable

BY the way.. is it me or is the Game Saving Function in BlackOPs pc broken? PLay the game for a few times.. stopped the game to leave the house for a bit..come back and my saves are not there...although you can restart the latest levels you beat..but you must start them all over..not last save point like you should be able too

Just play it. Treyarch will come with a patch within a week.

Laaaaag.

Just spoke with Alex G., he seems to indicate that the source of the lag might be with the GamerServer server config.Issue is with the sv_maxrate, currently on all servers it is set to 5000 (because of consoles I would assume) it should be set to around 25000 for PC. Therefore most pc users are finding a poor online expierience.I have been on with gameservers all day and their tech team.We tested the different rate on our server as a fix (via the tech team) and guess what, absolutely perfect. Our server has actually just been changed back, of course they can't edit the servers, They have submitted a request to whitelist the command sv_maxrate for all users to activision to be able to edit to what they desire. (They didn't want to set all servers to it by default because they believe people will have bandwidth issues).Just so you know they have limited results in the in game server browser to a few hundred servers to stop it overloading. Leaving most people unable to find their own servers! Also don't know if you know yet but there it no connect/reconnect and similar commands in the game and the addfavourite command does not work.

Hope this is useful and details enough Smile

I noticed that too.

What you do is, once you go to the screen that has "new game, select level/mission, etc," esc out of it to the previous menu (don't exit out the game completely), then click on it again and it should have the option to continue from your last play session.
