- Nice graphics for a title that runs @60fps on consoles (= that's already crippled on the graphics department)
- Good campaign, interesting story, I'm enjoying it, though it's still way too unrealistic and "arcade-y"
- Poor performance (still very playable)

At least there aren't any mouse acceleration issues etc.

what are these settings about does anyone know?

seta sys_configSum "160007939"
seta sys_configureGHz "0.0129121"
seta sys_gpu "ATI Radeon HD 4870"
seta sys_sysMB "1024" << that fucker should prob be 2048 or higher if u got 4gb ram, as that is sys ram. id be suprised if its the cards ram now as it saying sysMB..

the last two are obvious, but what are the top two, i thought it looked like ram and cpu clock but ive looked on web all i can find is alot of difference in how it looks here, but also nothing on what they do or how to figure them out.

How fast is your CPU/system most likely. It rates it, and auto adjusts the graphics the first time you run the game is my guess.

Yup. Everyone has differing degrees of what they consider "playable" - and right now, in its current state, it's definitely NOT playable for me.

It's been out for a day yes, but these kind of problems SHOULD be ironed out BEFORE release.

Playing it on the WII. Looks good! Too bad Activision blocked out multiplayer and zombie mode for it. Hopefully I can get online using PC version.

zombie mode is fucked for me, runs great but joining online is a no-go, always closes lobby, on the rare occasion that we get 4 ready players it counts down then closes lobby.

where is the whitehouse map from the trailer, I only see 1 map to choose from and its pretty shit.

Plays fine for me. Lowest I've seen on fraps was ~50fps. Seems to be completely CPU limited, my GPU is barely running on 50% load while my CPU cores are all maxed out at times. There's some minor stuttering, usually a while after loading a game or a new level.

It's pretty derpy, but decent fun.

I don't know about online but single player is running just fine.

Unlike Gothic4, there's no programming bug that a patch would fix to give more speed, a patch would simply remove hard to notice details to let your computer breath. I don't know about you, but I actually prefer a game using maximum of resources possible, even if it ask for you to buy new hardware, than a washed-down game like blizzard does to fit on every grandmothers computers.

That being said, I'm ashamed but I still got a pretty slow cpu (e6600) and only 2gb of ram. Of course, this game fills up my ram completely and it sometimes stop for a few milliseconds to load on the hard drive, but that's happening in all games I played this year and it's perfectly acceptable. I'm even surprised they managed to run everything I'm seeing on the screen on my hardware, so please people, stop bitching.

On another note, I'm not sure about the FOV too. The 3D geometry seems fine, but at some point in a cutscene (where you are being hold at the start) there was a "press left mouse button to skip" message, with only the first half showing and the rest going out of the screen. I'm using a non-standard resolution of 2048x1152, but it's a nice 16:9 ratio.

Without any major fiddling, the game is quite unplayable for me. Just for the hell of it I tried running it in WinXPSP3 compatibility mode. There was an improvement but its still stuttery, only not every second. Rolling Eyes During the stutters the audio also goes apeshit and crackly.

Later I will try out some of those console commands that were posted earlier and see if they make any differance.

Hilarious how they could "let" this slip through their QA. Wink

Either something changed with the game or my computer, but it seems like there is less weird stuttering now. Or i've just gotten used to it.

I had really annoying stuttering during the first Cuba mission but it got much better in the following missions - still an occasional hiccup here and there but much less noticable.

I'd say it is still better then the MW2 release, and i'm enjoying this game far more then MW2 on top that. Even with the stuttering issue in multiplayer.

Allready to level 32 in multiplayer, and unlocked the FAL. It rapes just as much as the FAL in MW2 did.

My friend plays it on 8600 with no stuttering(I'm not shitting you, seen it with my own eyes), so I guess you'll be fine, though it seems to be hit or miss with this game. Some guys with fucking BEASTS of a machine get stuttering, while some guys with not so good rigs play just fine.

Yeah, it's fucking weird.

I've almost debated putting an older GPU in and seeing if that removes the stuttering. I'm thinking maybe the game only has problems with newer GPU's, and it is potentially a driver related issue that both ATI/nvidia need to fix, or the shaders are coded weird and newer cards don't like it.

I also tried to change the 'memory' setting that the game has in the .cfg file - But the game changes it at startup each time, and each time it goes to 1024, even though I have 4GB of ram, and about a gig of video memory.

I'm thinking the stuttering is actually page-file swapping, because when the game loads it doesn't even use a gig of ram. Most games usually use at least 75% of my 4GB. This game only goes to 50% even once it is fully loaded in a match.

So it would make sense that the stuttering is actually page-file swapping, because the game is using page-file instead of RAM when it shouldn't be.
