So does this game have some mean copy protection or do the groups just not care? I know it's still the launch but I WANNA PLAY! Might even buy but I'm broke cuz I just upgraded my PC.

Got it from gamersgate.co.uk. Thanks for that . Anyway, the gamersgate version is not multi-5. It's just english, nothing more, but whatever, the price is fair at least

so far i been trying to load the site itself and its so slow cant even get a stable ping to there site so holding back till i see the site is stable enough

The site itself seems stable enough for me. I'll just purchase the damn thing. Let's hope the dl rate is not too low. EDIT: Thanks for the info damador. EDIT2: Dling German version @ 1.5 - 1.8 MB/s: acceptable speed. It should be finished in about an hour.

4-5MB/s for me, took only 10-11 minutes to download.

Knife is used with a active skill as with the first game, you'll learn soon if you haven't already. (F1 to F6 for menu screens by default.)

I ran around that MP trading outpost in the first scenario and just noticed that blade thing as I pushed into a walking guard (I guess it was a guard.) good to know what it's for.

oh couldn't resist this i emailed direct2drive to cancel my order for the game since im ordering it from gamersgate they started thinking im putting them on and it cant be possible to get it anywhere else until i sent them link they honestly didn't believe its possible to download this game anywhere else :)hehe it seems they are llooking into it so they can make the download available thru there store as well im waiting for an update right now:) Last edited by gold24 on Tue, 9th Nov 2010 17:20; edited 1 time in total

soooo.....went to gamersgate.co.uk and clicked on the game, but it says it isn't available in my area..... Was considering using a proxy server to download it.....but then started thinking about activation......

Mine is either in Hamburg or on it's way if they like to ship them all in advance. Seems I got to start playing other games and fast so they are out of the way when TWII comes Razz

Just a note, use a webproxy to buy the game, you don't really need a proxy server to download or activate, it's only for initially purchasing the game. While I haven't bought this one yet, that's been how it's worked with every other game I've purchased similarly.

The game looks nice so far. I have noticed only 4 somewhat major flaws. 1. The plot feels somewhat generic os far 2. The hollywood style character presentations are getting out of hand - there are like 5 close-up - pan out and camera fly around sequences within like first 10 minutes of the game. 3. The fighting animations are horrendous just like in the trailers and gameplay videos. Looks like two stereotypical gay men waving weightless sticks at each other. Casting animations are not much better + there is a super cheesy EARTH FIRE AIR SAUSAGE sound effect. 4. Movement is not fluid at all unless i'm doing something wrong - it's either a painfully slow walk or a full sprint. But there is phat loot, the magic and crafting systems seem promising and i still haven't uninstalled it despite the abovementioned issues.
