I've got the preloaded steam encrypted version, from like a week ago. A bunch of .ff and .iwd files, but no exe.
Can someone advise me how to decrypt and what crack to use pls?

So is the performance borked on the PC? Steam heads are going all Rambo over the lag they are facing in the game. Any confirmation?

Has anyone actually used downloaded preload files when activating the key, does the installing the game finishes that way or i have to download the whole game again?

By the way, does anybody have any idea why the game is only 8GB while MW2 was 12GB? Was MW2 just badly compressed?

Cause Treyarch are smart bastards.
They just ripoff the last made game by Infinity Ward and adds some twists and pro extras. And BAM. 8GB, more time to compress.. more time to create the game, cause 70% of the game is created by IW. Lold.
Treyarch is enjoying the hype thanks to IW.
Im not saying this game would be bad. I think it will be better than MW2.

Alright, go easy, was just curious. MW2 was abnormally large, and I just thought it was interesting that the new CoD is back at the size of most other PC games.

IW can only blame theirselves for creating shittie version of this game. They had time they had knowledge and they had enough resources to make better CoD 4.
Now fourzerotwo is like an orphan and is just what they deserve atm.

For the guy asking about performance before in whatever thread page it was, Yes I have some strange jerky shit in SP so far, the menu is all fine but ingame seems to be a bit off, looks stunning though for sure

Game is absolutely awesome.
Singleplayer so far has been a fucking blast, and I can tell it has some serious mindfucks in store.
Multiplayer is fucking awesome. It feels like a PC shooter, not that consolized crap that MW2 was.
Only issue right now are weird performance/stuttering issues that seems to be aflicting almost everyone. I imagine that will be sorted out in a patch soon.
This game just blows MW2 out of the water. I only enjoyed MW2 for the singleplayer, as the multiplayer fucking blew on the PC.

The most of the time they are not spending to create a better game. But they are spending their time to make a better publicity and awesome ads. Check Black Ops.. it feels that they have a much less budget than IW. Less publicity and less new things. Just recycle some stuff of IW. Treyarch thinks: Now we don't have to spend much time for publicity, because we already have publicity. Thanks IW. FUCK YEAH! |

Because of old good IW CoD series are what they are. However MW2 was so big failure that it almost destroyed the whole franchise. I hope that they learn from their mistakes because getting into a war with the community which is buying your products is probably much more serious issue than "who gives a fuck"

Personally, I thought the visuals from the campaign on the 360 version were significantly better than MW2, so did a friend of mine who was round for a dinner party that day. I've not tried the PC one yet, so I can't comment on that, but I doubt the PC one is going to end up looking worse than consoles :\

Hmm, anybody know if there is some mouse smoothing going on? I find it difficult to adjust the sensitivity to something that works 100%. Not saying it's total shit, but there is something strange about it.
