Fuck Tesco, why didn't they tell me that they wouldn't be able to send me my pre-order on time? Ridiculous. At least it only cost £24, and I'll have a chance to test the cracked version first.

MP is very laggy for me. Is there some way to tweak it a little bit? I've already disabled DoF as well as motionblur, did the snap and packet thing as well.

Can anyone try? I can't play the game yet:
 Spoiler: | It turns out your CPU / Processor is taking all the power and it's getting leaked rather than going to your GPU / Graphics card.
So the fix turns out to be fairly simple... a FPS config! Who would of Guessed?!
I then decided to download Stevy's famous config... It worked!
Remember with stock settings and lowering things down graphically, I still hit 30FPS, now with Stevy's cfg, I hit 80+ FPS constant!
Instructions:
Download the file here http://www.fnatic.com/downloads/481/Stevy-config.html and unrar it to your desktop
Find your Steam folder ( C:\Program Files\Steam)
Then Steam Apps folder > Common > Call of Duty Black Ops > Main Folder ( C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\call of duty black ops\main )
Once in this folder "Main", drag or copy / paste the config inside.
Start up Black Ops, Say no to the new pop ups and test it out.
NOTE: You may have to reset your player controls to default or to your liking. |

I dont get it, why none of u tried to make ur own cfg, that the first thing u do by such games, u launch it, play it for 10-15min and then spend at least half a hour "fiXing" everything.

You're not missing much. The multiplayer as well as the singleplayer is pretty choppy on the PC at the moment.
edit: lolwat, whenever I try to access multiplayer/singleplayer it says "Pre-loading is complete, when the game is officially released, you'll be able to play it immediately."

Cannot connect to any MP server. It sees a lot of servers in the browser, and when i select one it just stays on "Connecting". Firewall settings are fine. Also major stuttering in SP; the frame rate is fine, but the stuttering kills it.

Just finished the campaign, took ~6 hours. Okay, couple rather standard missions which don't have much replayability but some very cool stealth missions. Harder than MW2. And I guessed the whole point about the plot before mid game so the story was a little 'meh' for me. But hopefully mp is where this really kicks in.
