Do I have to start a new character for FoV? or Can I just use my old one when I finish the original campaign?

That was damn funny. I love Larian's style. Unique, funny and epic. Seems like we are pretty much in the same state of the career. Last night I reached the bandit camp (not going into the temple until I clear the whole Broken Valley), but I was pretty tired so I'm going to continue a little later. It's the second playthrough of the game and I still love it.

Oh no, that's an older screen Razz I'm already on Sentinel Island, almost completed the quests there but I'm going to head back to Broken Valley before I claim the Battle Tower - just to make sure everything is done.

FYI everyone; make sure you're finished in Broken Valley BEFORE you take the Battle Tower.

Good to know. Thanks Sabin! Been cleaning up quests the last time I played. Down to about 6-7 now (plus main multi quest).

There should be some NPCs with which I can talk in the bandit camp (a secret quest + other secrets are related to them), but I can't talk with anyone except that Emily. Is this some kind of bug/trigger?

Hmm. The first bandit camp, the one by the mines?

1. Clement / Sybille
2. Tagos
3. Martis (trader)
4. Rangar
5. Leda
6. Jagon
7. Christopher

Those are the people you can talk to in that camp. Just be careful how you go about questing there... I've broken two quests from the Camp because I told Louis (from Rivertown) about the location, so they assaulted the camp before I had time to finish two quests; Retrieve Tagos's axe and Commit a Robbery. Now they're stuck in my log Sad

1. In the Derelict Tunnels, there are THREE amulets/talismans;

Talisman of the East, West and South.

Once you've found all three, return to the very centre of the tunnels and you'll see a stature with plants and shit around it. Stand in front and, in this order, "use" the talismans in your inventory; West, East, South. Azimuth will take them and grant you his blessing; the Talisman of the North - which is incredibly powerful (or incredibly weak, it depends on what level you were when you first collected a talisman)

2. Those are Bellegar encounters. He's a fucking punk-ass prankster wizard, lol. There are four of those shrine areas where he spawns enemies, once you've beaten all four - another opens up in the same place you met Allana, the Dragon. Go there and he summons ALL the enemies you fought at the shrines so far, beating those gives you the final reward.

This map should help;

It's an old bug from the original Ego Draconis... *sigh* I was hoping they'd have fixed it. Either by warning you that doing that quest will cancel the others, or at least giving you the "Quest Failed" message and removing them from your journal.

Ok, thanks.

Yeah I'm probably too high for the amulet by now since I'm level 16.

yep, but I have retried first to unzip the whole iso with winrar rather than to install the game from DVD and it can install OK, but those strange transparent textures are just unexplained Sad

Maybe this has been answered already but I'll give it another go....I'm willing to give the game a try but where the heck can I force high textures -> keeps throwing not enough memory.

I believe this is the stupidest decision for game design ever....I have 1 GB of unused graphics memory (ATI 5770) but I can't play at high textures because I have only 2 GB of RAM. Instead a friend of mine running on a 3850 which has only 256MB VRAM can run the fucking textures on high without a problem because he threw another 1 GB of cheap DDR2 at it. Cant fucking believe it....

How big is the difference between high texture quality and medium? From what I've seen after running it at 1080p the game has nice post processing, water and shadows but horrid low res textures.

that's so true, with one Geforce 450GTS 1 Gb VRAM and 4 Gb of DRAM, IMPOSSIBLE to run the game at 1440X900, I must lower to 1280x768, WTF. I can run Mafia 2 and GTA4 on 1440x900 but not Divinity 2. And they complain about people dowloading their f.*** games...^^"

A GTS450 isn't exactly "wow" mate.. I'm running a Radeon 4870-1G and the game is flawless, max settings and locked at the 30fps cap, 1680x1050.

Well I'm running the game flawless and nearly maxed out too (only shadows are on high, not very high) and only on a 8600GT (overclocked at around 30%). Seems like TW2 won't show up so I'm going to continue this in a few minutes (reached the Sentinel Island). A bit more and then the real fun begins.

Yeah I have 2 GB KINGMAX DDR2 ....so all the texture resources are loaded into RAM memory instead of using VRAM. What a piece of shit game! I've tried forcing high textures by modifying the settings files in the profile directory but it will still revert to the old settings.
I guess I'm either forced to run the game at medium texture settings or uninstall this piece of shit... I'll search for some image comparison settings to see if the difference is noteworthy.
