I recommend this movie to my friends but they keep asking what it's about and after that I just don't care anymore because people are used to stories like "Hank Storm was the toughest cop in L.A. but they murdered his wife and now he is on a killing spree to find the murder..." and the twist is that it was ordered by his chief...

Israeli film where the message is anti-war; you are surprised about the awards?

i thought she was just a little too stupid and dumb-faced for the bulk of the film. she looked like a deer in the headlights for the entire thing, utterly shell shocked and bewildered... was just too much to enjoy, and i wish they would have scaled it back a bit. yeah i know her 'thing' is the thick-as-a-brick dumb blond, but i just cant get into those characters.
cruise was good though, but overall pretty meh. ending was fucking torture though, from the hospital to the credits, but ive said that before.

Skyline - 6/10 Nice gfx, meh movie. That's what you get when CGI artists become directors. No drama, no tension, no characters. *sigh*
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

Well, Israeli media is considered more left wing here, and especially the film makers, which are usually radical left.
