Anyone know any good documentaries to look for on the net and watch?
Can be anything from anti-government ones to wildlife?
Can't think of any myself so any recommendations are welcome Smile

Cheers Smile

Without a doubt one of the best, and just an awesome story.

Have you seen the one where they show Bear Gryllis's expedition to everest, and where he flies this thing over mt. everest? Pretty cool.

Another cool one (again with bear gryllis) is the one where he gets a group of people, and they go through the French Foreign Legion training.

A bunch of cool NOVA programs as well. One of my favorite is 'Astrospies'. It details the secret US and Soviet space programs. There is A LOT of information that will blow your mind about that stuff. Both countries had shadow space programs with some really cool space stuff. Like the russians had a small little space station with recoil less rifles on it to shoot down US stuff.

http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/videos/player.html?channel=60850

Don't know if that will work for you, but a lot of cool stuff on there as well. The 'Inside Green Berets' is well worth watching. Some of the NGC crew died making that.

His french foreign legion one? Or man vs wild?

I think Man vs wild is OK. Fun to watch him do that stuff. Has nothing to do with survival though.

Bear is a pretty cool guy. Broke his back in SAS training, then healed and climbed mt everest. Of course, he comes from a family with a -shitload- of money. But still, cool dude.

Really? Zeitguist has no validity.

I wouldnt have thought that you, Ronhrin a man of intelligence and logic reaching almost Spock-like proportions (you wish Cool Face), would be into this conspiracist crap.

Word.
Zeitgeist is some stupid and lame shit, especialy the last part where "people are starting to wake up", which was laughable.

The parts about money and religion were good. Not groundbreaking or new, but they managed to explain money and debt in a language uneducated people could understand.
The last part with the utopian venus project was admitedly crap. While I applaud the notion of striving towards a world in which war, poverty, crime, social stratification and corruption no longer exist, it's not likely to happen because of a fucking grassroots movement.
