Hah, true it did really change the game around as say with how Fallout 3 did so that sort of "critique feedback" was probably expected.

As this concludes the Dragon Knight story arc to Divinity 2 it'll be interesting to see how they continue the story (And game itself.) from here, haven't completed it but there's probably room for a lot of stuff even after whatever happens here.

No news about a release? Crying or Very sad Just installed Divine Divinity again and it's such an amazing game. Shame on me because I didn't finished. I need to make some time to play DD and BD. Anyway, I found the wallpaper which I was looking for. On Gamespot Cool Face.

Release Ego Draconis (remastered heavily) together with Flames Of Vengeance on PC & X360 under the name The Dragon Knight Saga.
You can take that "remastered heavily" part seriously as we've literally redesigned almost all dragon parts, especially the flying fortresses, drastically changed loot/enemies and retouched quite some artwork. The net result is a much more streamlined experience that is a lot more fun (we think)

So... Did they ruin the game?

I hope its just a quest tracker or something if the quest descriptions are as vague as they were in the original.

I think that by "Streamlined" they meant "We finally drokkin' fixed most of the skill tree so it's finaly usefull" not "We added a magical fairy that'll make you suck much less"

At least I hope that's what they meant.

started playing a bit, one thing that bothers me is the voice acting, i dont find any commitment in the voices, its just like they are standing and reading a newspaper. thats the major concern. So far i havnt played far but gonna try get a bit more into it this evning, otherwise it doesnt look that bad, and the story seems pretty sweet. this is the english version btw.

@A-A

It depends; have you played the main game yet? No? Wait for DKS. Do you plan to replay DivII from the start with the expansion content? Wait for DKS. Do you just want the expansion? Get FoV. The reason I say this is because the FoV expansion, on its own, doesn't bring all the content of DKS into the game - only the engine enhancements. The rest of DivII is still the same as it always was. DKS, on the other hand, brings massive improvements and changes to the vanilla game as well.

Lar_Q (head of Larian) has stated they are working on a mega patch that will turn ED+FoV into DKS, but it's not out yet.

I got a key for FoV so I can install that and play through it, but what I really want is to play the entire game from the start... so in that case, I'm waiting for DKS.

After a while running back and forth in Aleroth might get a bit repetitive but there's a lot to discover and I still find new things to do, about halfway trough I'd estimate but there's much more to do and various things to discover still, improved skills and stats have helped after a few more levels but leveling up is fairly slow now for the higher levels at least.

Various images thumbnails should allow for previews while still minimizing spoilers.

EDIT: Whoops forgot the other reason I posted.

Should unlock all extras including those three armor sets, they're listed as the top three with the older bonus at the bottom.
(Some cleaning might be needed, there's four or so sets all in all but various codes for different retailers.)

(Part of the exe, if you search for part of the number it'll find the whole list, hex editor or similar recommended, above is everything though.)

Beckman, can you compare the 1.0 version to the new one? Does it warrant a new playthrough or are the changes minimal?

I just started the original version, I played trough it with the German FoV and compared to the original 1.3 revision the changes where rather light, however from how it appears that did not contain any of the updated content aside from the game engine itself such as visual quality and performance.

So far it's pretty similar but I guess Broken Valley and especially the Fjords will differ, apparently a lot of redesign went on with the floating fortress segments but it'll be hours before I reach that area.
