Yeah, but that's for people who seem to shite their pants. I bet you can activate the UK version just fine and properly on release day. It took them months to finally lock MW2.
Sorry but this panic shit annoys me. Same shit happened with "Aliens Vs. Predator 2k10" and "Left 4 Dead 2". All were panicking and guess what. Everyone was able to activate their UK versions just fine. They locked them later on (new activations).

yeah, well, if it doesn't, gifting should definitely work. people already got it gifted from UK dudes and are now preloading the ROW version. highly doubt the game will suddenly change to the cut version on release day.
whatever.. i've already finished the game on 360, i don't really care about the gore anymore. but i can't stand hearing stuff like "feindlicher harrier gesichtet!!!" or stuff like that
Hmm, seems that russian clone can be decrypted with phoenix, but there are no exe files.

Not all the "keys" or what to best describe them as are available yet, this is further divided into different game editions and not just for localization, I'll check it out a bit more thoroughly later, as far as I knew none of the keys are yet available so extraction would only yield zero filled or garbled/encrypted data.
EDIT: None of the decryption keys are yet available, as for how it's split there's a standard edition and then a Japanese and German edition which I presume is censored or edited somewhat.
there is no secret, i assumed the servers are "busy" for everyone, regardless if you've purchased it already or not. meh, i'm not too fussed, as i'm getting the disk its only going to take 10 mins to install anyway!
I'd say you're right, it's a high profile game and Steam has become a bit more serious about it so the keys will likely only be made available on the day of release or even just shortly before Steam's timed release date noon US time or when it'll be.
