Didn't happen last year, won't happen this year.
The first people playing this on the PC will be legit owners (unless a DVD is ripped before launch). The steam hacking route will never happen.

I preordered the game on http://mmoboost.cz/?p=eshop&id=514 It's 799CZK, which is about $45 (or 32EUR). Bought it there because that looks like cheapest place that accept PayPal...

sabin, here in the UK, we can get a copy of PC version for £29 via Coolshop - there are 2 x £3 vouchers you can use, which brings it down to £29 delivered. Why not purchase and get it sent to a friends house in UK - and get them to e-mail you the code when it arrives?
Alternative to Coolshop is Tesco Entertainment, where you can get it for £29.99 with the £5 off pre-order code.

Any reasonable price in the US? $59 is steep and I'm not 100% sure I'll play it that much since my play time has been rather limited lately due to work crap.

Yeah I definitely feel for the Euro's there. I've seen that a lot especially via Steam and you guys are always getting shafted. It's ridiculous.
I'll see how many friends pick it up (if any) and base it off of that. I could prolly hold off playing a while since I got other games to play still and can find it for a better price then.
