IMO it's on par with COD2 and MW1. It really IS that good a campaign. I absolutely loved every second of it =)

Frankly speaking, if this is as fun in MP as MW1 & WaW was then that will be more than enough for me since I'm not expecting much from SP. But since this is all cloak and dagger type game (the parts which I loved the most in MW1 & 2 then it seems promising). ^_^

Okay now lets keep it PC only peeopleeee! Even though the campaign is the same but still... don't tarnish the PC forums with such

1 and 2 are still amazing.

SP: I finished the first "level", then uninstalled it. I was very unimpressed and bored. This has nothing on MW1 as far as I'm concerned. On par with MW2.

I want to order but I'm too lazy to go to the post office.

Just finished it, took me a little over 7hrs - so that already makes it the largest COD to date Absolutely STUNNING game with a fantastic plot and marvellous pacing. I am HAPPY to buy this game and I can't wait to kick some arse in multiplayer ...... I just hope you can have Dragon's Breath (SPAS12+Incendiary Rounds) in MP
9/10 so far, just for SP alone. Magnificent. |
you just tripled my 'horny-on-black-ops-i-want-it-NOW' feelings!! THANKS!!!
I hope amazon delivers in advance!!!
man, i know it, i will LOVE this game!!

Nice to hear that the game is fun. But I get a little sad when the game gets praised for having a 7 hour Sp campaign...

Yeah, but you have to talk in relation to the rest of the FPS genre, especially recent Call of Duty titles where you can finish them in 4-5hrs.

I know, but it is still too short Imho. It's probably because I played all the COD and MOH singleplayer campaigns and never cared for the multiplayer.
As I have said before, I would actually pay money for Black Ops, if it was possible to buy only the singleplayer part for a fair price.
But the fair price part will most likely never happen.

sabin1981 wrote: | This game is FUCKING AWESOME! Treyarch really pissed on Infinity Wank's bonfire with this puppy Been playing for 5 hours now (I didn't want to wait a week to play the PC so I've been on the derp box, don't be hatin'!!) and I'm probably 75% through the game, could be even less, and it's FUCKING AWESOME! Visuals are great, audio is great, plot is BRILLIANT and the pacing feels just right. It's not the Michael Bay fuckfest that MW2 campaign was, it's got more of a "World at War" feel -- and it's brutal, oh so very brutal.
I know full well there's going to be a hundred comments calling me a derp after this, but you know what? I don't give a rat's ass. You can all hate on this game all you want, but you'll be missing out and only end up cheating yourselves of a great experience ^_^ I'm loving this so far -- shit like Medal of Honour just got butt-fucked hard. Playing a mission where you have to guide a team through the mountains using your Lockheed Blackbird's NAV display and, if your team encounters fire because you didn't lead them correctly, the game zooms in and you take control of one of the soldiers in order to fight your way out.
Epic stuff I honestly believe even Leo will enjoy this SP campaign, especially if he liked World at War. |
Sounds so good Cant wait to get PC version on my hands.

BS, MW and MW2 were 4-5 hours, the older titles were quite a bit longer.
