Treyarch.

What can I say.

SP-campaign bores me to death. Gameplay/design-wise they still have alot to learn.

Another b-title from them, but I´m sure they once again will reap the benefits from being a cod-game. Treyarch+Activision=what can go wrong!? Laughing

And I´m not going into the whole "no bots when offline" fiasco again.

I set this off last night and expected it to be finished by the time I got home from work (I have a shitty 2 meg connection).

However, my newsreader decided to hang about 10 minutes after I left this morning. Fucking helpful.

While it's a good game, i gotta admit i'm slightly disappointed by this game, at least SP. For its time, I think CoD MW2 was more surprising than CoD BO, which rips out most Infinity Ward ideas.

Even though they try to improve them, it still feels too much déjà vu, and don't get me wrong, CoD MW2 was déjà vu, but less than CoD BO. For example, the motorbike sequences in CoD BO is a plain rip off of the snowmobile sequence in CoD MW2, lame !

Well I like it. Seems faster paced, sounds better and theres alot more "on screen". As i say, even though graphics are basically the same (same engine), they've got alot more onscreen - more paintings falling off the wall, more boxes smashing, more barrels exploding.

I really like the direction / style that the story has so far been told in - although i'm only a few hours in.

So far I like it just as much as MW2, but time will tell!

The SP campaign is fucking AWESOME, IMO. It's pissing all over MW2 from the greatest of heights and I'm astounded you people are actually saying MW2's Michael Bay bullshit was BETTER?! Vomit 5hrs in and loving every second, can't wait to get my PC ver and play online.

Same gameplay IMHO, could have been a mode of COD MW2... BTW, for jtag users, a patched exe is out to play against bots offline.

Yeah, not my doing. I've been at my parents for 2 months while I've been relocating for jobs and moving house. My old man hasn't upgraded his account for over 5 years and they don't do it automatically. I jump to a 20Mbp next week thank god.

Download done now. Just burning but might wait til tomorrow to play

Ok, just finished it - 8hours on third difficulty setting & aim off. The game is fucking EPIC. Storywise it totally owns both MWs. THe only issue I could mention: sometimes it's so fast-paced that you either don't have time to savour all the details or the sequence is just too short. For example:

10/10 anyway

The forced pacing gets on my nerves also. Wish you could turn off that on screen text and arrow bullshit too. Apart from that I like it , I like the graphics and sound design. The new explosions and fire balls are pretty awesome. Some very nice set pieces, just need more time to enjoy them. Playing on hardened, auto aim off, first mission pistol only for fun Razz

Gotta love that slow mo of the 1911 dropping the hammer, muzzle blast, slide cycling ejecting case and bullet flying out into Castros forehead Smile

Absolutely 100% agreed! Well, not 10/10.. but you got my meaning Very Happy

Just finished it, took me a little over 7hrs - so that already makes it the largest COD to date Laughing Absolutely STUNNING game with a fantastic plot and marvellous pacing. I am HAPPY to buy this game and I can't wait to kick some arse in multiplayer ...... I just hope you can have Dragon's Breath (SPAS12+Incendiary Rounds) in MP Very Happy

9/10 so far, just for SP alone. Magnificent.

Anyone know how to unlock the "other" three zombie maps? Or is it just the one, they seem to be "blacked" out... if anyone finish the SP and can check if that's what's required?

You get Kino from the beginning and the second one (Pentagon war room or something like that) is unlocked after you complete SP.

Really surprised from some of you guys über positive feedback!

Personally I think the game lacks in many important areas. For being an AAA-title it just doesn´t deliver.

Dragons breath was pretty awesome though.
