OT - this always makes me wonder where is our 'invisible wall', edge of space where matter doesn't exist anymore because no one 'programmed' it, (probably run out of RAM) or beyond.

So, uh, weren't some of these guys the ones who should be working on the game's future patches? Confused

Doh, forgot that Bethesda was involved in this.
Patches that fix actual issues in the game... What the hell was I thinking. Laughing Laughing Laughing

But they'll put out a couple of patches... the "preparing for DLC" ones.

You don't exactly need a full development team for bug fixes. I mean were talking more than programmers here.

I've done the brotherhood quest for him

Are you talking about when the Brotherhood guy wants to examine him and gives him an armor update? If so, you'll be notified when he's available again, and you'll find him back at Primm where you originally found him. BTW, any stuff you had in his inventory will be gone when you get him back, at least it was in my case.

No. I meant I've done and completed the brotherhood quest for him (apparently that can change his behaviour and cause him not to come to primm when you terminate him)
I sent him back to primm before I knew that, and now I"m not sure where to find him or how to get him back.

Is there a teleport command I could use with him? (teleport me to his location to see where he is?)

Guys, you know what? Since I played the game twice now (VeryHard/Hardcore).. I was thinking about the so called Hardcore mode..

I would call it "Annoymeplease mode" since that's all it is doing. It doesn't make the game harder in the slightest way. It's just annoying and if you think about it, it's poorly executed. You just need to collect a bunch of Gecko Meat to make Gecko Steaks. They divide so fucking much food-rating that it's ridiculous. For poorly 25 points in survival...
And don't let me start on Water and Sleeping.

Really, what were they thinking? For me? Hardcore Mode = Fail.

It fits perfectly for an more educated lol wut but not me...

I enjoyed hardcore mode. It made it so collecting food and using items required more planning, because I didn't want to be burdened with weak food or use good food too soon. Ammo has weight, so I couldn't just carry a bunch of weapons + 1000 rounds of each.

That's not to say it's perfect. However, hardcore mode is essentially a bonus feature tacked on top of a game that was made to be playable for everyone. In the end, the parts of the game that are unchanged by hardcore mode outweigh any increased difficulty the mode offers.

I'm sure there will be some mods that make it hard, maybe there will be a new FWE.

For difficulty unrelated to Hardcore mode I've been using this

Problem is, I have absolutely no clue how this will interfere with some other mods I've installed. But it sounds fantastic, indeed.

There is a few hardcore modes out there:
Slightly More Hardcore Hardcore Mode: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34741
Changes some weight of items and make food/water not heal, and some stuff..

Harder Hardcore Rates: http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34954
Increases the rates of which Hunger, Dehydration and Sleep Deprivation increase, and some stuff..

Tbh I didn't read what they did because I don't use them, I just did a search on "hardcore" at nexus..

Made it for you.

Is was thinking exact the same thing, since there is no FWE yet, i just remove all the needs for food/slp/h20 while keeping the ammo weight, stimpak over time and doctors bag.

hardcore = more complex, not harder

If you can't handle it, either do not use it, or tweak it with mods to suit your tastes.

P.S.
IMHO, the only annoying thing about food/water is that it shares same group as all other Aid items, so it's a bit cluttered.

Well on my Norwegian keyboard the <> keys are directly to the left of Z and to right of SHIFT. According to Google, it's the same place as German/Italian/Spanish/Scandinavian. On a Russian and UK keyboards they are directly to the right of the M key.

Player.placeatme " REFID / FORMID " 1 1 1 (Or something like that, might not need the last two digits, were used to set z and y axis position or some such instead of just x / distance position.)

ED-E has three references and the base one is removed during his quest (Leading to people wondering about their inventory they had stashed in him from what I've read.)

Anyway the ID's should be these on the info box on this page.
http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/ED-E

So "player.placeatme 001732d1 1" or the number 0010c769 should work for the base version as a example.

Prid 0010c769 or 001732d and then player.goto should teleport you to him as another example.

Ah, that's a relief. Thank you Razz
I'll test it out in about an hour.

I can handle it, I did it twice, that's not the problem. But for me, this so called hardcore mode is a joke. The food/slp/h20 is just annoying and doesn't make the game hardcore for me at all. For me it's just as "stupid" as the timelimit in DerpRising2. An lame attempt that looked somewhat promising, but failed at the end.

That's weird. How can you actually point Achimedes to that area, quarry? All a saw is a beam hitting the NCR tents around the tower. Am I missing something here? Scratch Head

Just use the Antimateriel rifle (sniper rifle, can buy it at Gun Runners) and you can kill all those Death claws from afar.

When you are going after the Remnant armor in the South East of the map across the river the trick is to kill them with the same weapon, when there are too much or they are too close just dive into the water, the deathclaw stops persuing you, get out the water and kill it Very Happy
