What the hell am I supposed to do in Berlin, during the drought when some houses collapse and people escape? Everything is so piss-yellow I cant find injured among other people.

Wow they really dumbed down some of the familiar features from the previous games like you can't specify what hydrant to use a hose on or hook up to the truck. On top of that many of the first few missions are basically tutorials which experienced people don't need. Then they throw you right into chaos with the diseased Berlin area. Not sure I'm liking this over EM4.

I like the features they "Dumbed down/streamlined" .. your not using your head any less.. just not clicking a zillion times to do a simple thing.
Eg - instead of clicking a guy.. clicking on the firetruck .. selecting the jaws of life.. and closing the window
You just click on the "jaws of life" from the guys menu and he goes to get it etc..
But the game seems to run like shit for me for some reason.. and the sound seems all screwy..

Tried patching over the original .exe and replacing the crack, game crashes. Won't run on original, obviously.

Well this has been an issue since the first game. You need to get used to it...Not more to say...

Start game, alt-tab, disable internet connection, enter multiplayer and enable your connection again. Works fine.

Yes, but as far as I remember the first games didn't have multiple situation all over the map.
