This was probably one of the best movies to come out this year. I haven't watched that many this year, but I certainly was entertained when I saw it. It was pretty faithful to the graphic novel except for the ending and some circumstances here and there.

This was honestly the most fun I ever had with a movie. Seriously. Words can not describe the enjoyment I got from this movie.
The awesome characters, the retro gaming refernces, the over-the-top out-of-nowhere fights, all is awesome with this movie.
Cannot wait for a 1080p release.

I agree the movie was totally awesome  The fights, the acting, the rapid and almost 'out of the blue' change of scenes Awesome in every aspect

I really love the way they put the story down but the fighting stuff is just to much over the top for me.
I probably will finish it later on this weekend....but only because i dont have much else

There isn't any blood or gore, but fighting. Fighting is "game-like" or whatever to call it, anyway not realistic but totally over the top. This movie might appeal to girls, but much more it is a movie for gamers. There are loads of pop-culture references. So this is def. not a girly movie.

I don't think girls would like this movie very much. I actually think anyone not familiar with gaming is going to like it very much.
The first 20 minutes seem just like normal, awesomely shot, stylized and cut, but normal teen love drama, when all of a sudden a evil ex-boyfriend pops out of nowhere whom Scott has to defeat, which establishes the for gamers entirely normal goal of beating all the exes to win Ramonas heart.
For me everything past this was an incredible joyride, but I don't think anyone not familiar with gaming will like, or get, it very much.
Also, enemies burst into coins once defeated, SO WATCH IT NOW!
