I am not that far. I just met the Legion guy w/ the wolfhead. I am thinking impressing them and going a little "bad" may be fun. I have a save point right before this lined up. Should I try it, or will it may the game way too tough to get along w/ anyone?
Edit: I missed the 100 by one minute!!

So I snuck my way in disguised as a powder ganger. Somehow managed to talk to eddie and do the first 2 quest parts for him.
Then I betrayed him and helped attacking the facility.
NCR wiped the floor (well, more like Veronica wiped the floor) with the gangers 
But (there's always a but isn't there?) I'm pretty sure I heard Mr. New Vegas talk about the attack and I'm pretty sure he said the attack on the facility failed and thus Powder Ganger activity against the NCR continues.
O.o Every last powder ganger at the facility is dead. I talked to the Seargent who led the attack. I've even talked to Hayes (after I found him wandering through the wastelands) and the dialogue says "The attack was a success".
I don't want my radio to be glitched :/

| Spoiler: | I stood there for the longest time trying to figure out how to approach that quest without violence (because my toon wasn't that powerful). First I tried putting on the legion rags before I freed them and they killed me. My second attempt worked, I used a stealthboy, untied them both and walked away without firing a shot. Stealthboy to the rescue! |

All I did was was push one of the Legion guards (by running into them) towards their tents so both of the guards would have their backs turned to me.. Then I just freed both of the slaves OLOLOL.

They're powder gangers, who cares? Honestly when I stumbled on them (I told boxcar to go eff himself so I never took the quest), after I cleared out the Legion, I stood next to the captives and popped off their heads like I was opening a bottle of champagne.
Thing that pisses me off, I wiped out a Legion camp and I start hearing on the radio that the NCR got the credit! I mean, I'm cool with them and all but fuck, they weren't even around! It wasn't all that hard either. After I took out the Legion sniper, I used his nest as a vantage point and just picked off everyone else. Freed some NCR captives and called it a day.
Fucking NCR man. Around the Mojave, *I* am the law.

How do I get to Hoover Dam? I can see it from the lake while swimming, but I can't find a way.
I found escaped convicts in the vault. Lem asks me to cut off the Sulfur supply, but I need 60 in explosives. Is there no other way to complete this quest? I don;t want to help Cook.
I find it strange that I get no background info about mr. House. How can I decide to side with him or destroy him when I know zilch about his intentions? Or did I miss a quest?

When in doubt, kill everyone.
You need to enter the Dam from the west side (camp Forlorn Hope isn't too far iirc), I don't think the eastern side is available until endgame.

very good gameplay, very long story and playtime, not bad graphics, but sorry to fanboys, I still prefer Fallout 3. This cowboy AND Roman atmosphere...blah.

I was wondering if there is a complete map with all the name of the locations on it, like fallout 3
Is handy once you're nearing the end, to see what locations and side quests you might have missed

fuck,..my save crashed ,.. now every save game I load,.. it crashes the game,..
FUUUCK ,.. !!!! and I really liked it far more than Fallout 3,...

i had the same problem... autosafe and two manual safe games were broken, i had only one working left... luckily 20 minutes before, after using that safe game i have owerwritten the broken safed games and they worked again, now i always use 4 safe games at the same time....
maybe u can try and go into ur save folder... there is a autosafe file and one auto safe backup file (with the ending .bak if i remember right) delet the autosafe file and name the .bak (backup safe) to the normal safe name (i think just autosafe.sav or so cant look it up right now) for me it didn´t help but maybe ure lucky?

i think there is a perk revelaing all locatons and a special console command (is it "tll" or smehting)?

Lots of different vendors have cards here and there. I got a deck given to me at the beginning of the game though in Goodsprings. I still buy cards when I see them just to have more though.

Caravan Deck will give you the NCR(i think) guy that was hiding in Goodsprings gas station,just next to Doc house.Then you can buy cards from travel caravans and merchants from the game.But when you buy cards it will not go to caravan deck automatically,its a bug.After buying them ,place them in a box for example and then get it again.This time they will go to caravan deck.I think that witout getting full caravan deck from this guy,caravan deck cannot be created in inventar due to bug.
