However, SCEA suggested you should test the PSP for a week or two and then "If you find the spots are interfering with gameplay/video viewing during this period, we will support the various elements of the PSP warranty." A replacement or repaired PSP will only be given upon further inspection by SCEA and granted the 'defective' mark.

BestBuy tols me they were talking returns for any dead pixels. Said I could even buy it then open it at cust service and return it for another if it had a dead pixel.
