After what I've read from people here and the reviews I'm not even going to waste time downloading this piece of crap. TFU1 was pure shit and ran like it as well, it was a mind-numbing experience which made me uninstall it after 2 hours of gameplay. I enjoyed watching the cutscenes on youtube more than playing the game... -.-

Game's awfully short. And boring. And bandwidth-wasting. Probably TFU3 is in the works now. Which will presumably be an even more dumbed-down experience.

I am having a really weird problem with the game. The cutscenes run fine but as soon as the game starts it's like there are no textures.I can see a single tile on the floor and the lightsabers, but the rest is just silhouettes.Any ideas?

Agreed. The game might be well packed and graphically attractive, but the core gameplay is completely uninpressive and repetitive, not to mention the fact that the game doesn't bring absolutely anything new to the genre.

Or I'm simply becoming too old for this kind of games. Laughing

Nah, gave the game to my cousins 6 and 8 year old kids. They played it for 5 minutes before abandoning it for Ben 10.
Even they could feel there's a disturbance in the Force.

You will unlock them if you finished trial mode. Don't bother about the movies, they are cartoonish and tells more about the dark side apprentice.

I don't know. All the bashing, throwing, electrocuting of stormtroopers kinda relaxes me. Makes me giggle a little Laughing

But they didn't push the envelope. There's a shitload of stuff a powerful jedi like starkiller could. I mean, he can move starships, but only three stormtroopers at a time?

There is a DLC coming for this game, open up winrar and navigate to your force unleashed 2 folder.

Open up pak3.lp (D:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2\LevelPacks)

You see they will add more challenges and single player maps like the battle of endor.

AA and motion blur. Disable both and you should have crisp visuals again .. it's basically the same cheap AA faking as in GTA4 with the "definition" setting.

The begin intro movies in the game are stuttering, the game itself played smoothly, but if I give the movie files the extention avi, and opening with mediaplayer it’s running smooth. Nero showtime gave audio to wma to that it, and wmv video go. I have ffdshow already geinstaleerd. I have Windows 7 ultimate.

really slight glitches in the cut scenes, nothing troublesome. I have seen allot worse then that, gameplay is smooth. Not all maxed out though, older comp (1.5 years)

Finished the game...I don't know what to say about the performance. I experienced slowdowns in some open areas and in the final battle. It's still better then the first but inconsistent.
As for gameplay - the first one was far more varied visually and Starkiller seemed much more powerful.

This game feels like it was stopped halfway through production. Like they did the gameplay first and then suddenly got word from the boss that they had to wrap it up soon because of some internal shit.

Actually, not long ago there was some stories about chaos at LucasArts, not because of financial issues, but because of new management and a lot of people got fired. Maybe George Lucas got fed up with all the lame games they were churning out. Smile

Anyway, It wouldn't surprise me if in a few months, we can read that this game was a casualty of that Lucas Arts conflict. Remember how they surprised everybody by canceling TFU3 some months ago despite TFU1's success on consoles... At that point they already knew that TFU2 would get bad ratings, so they just decided to kick it out the door despite it being incomplete.

The only way I see this series continue, is if TFU2 sells like crazy despite all the bad ratings. Then they will probably push out some dlc and make TFU3 anyway. Smile

Not that I'm a TFU fanboy, this is just what I expect to happen.

Personally, I wish that Lucas Arts would return to the adventure genre and the Space Sim genre, let's have a new X-Wing VS Tie-Fighter or free roamer like Elite/freelancer where you can be a smuggler or Bounty Hunter Wink

Let me know how that works out for ya. i was using D3Doverrider which fixed the tearing but it causes the cutscenes to skip.

Maybe the cutscenes skip because they have 5 different audio tracks?

Don't know what is worse... the cheap trick of revisiting the maps they did in the first one, or the shortness of the second... all in all, i found it pretty fun... while it lasted.

Now the cutscenes are in slow-mo, why did these assholes use ffshow for cutscenes.
