Where do you guys think LBJ is going, its a big FA fiasco as we speak!

hard to say, i think he'd fit good in new york with bosh. he wouldn't have the best team at the beginning like he would with Chicago but i think the front office would be able to get stuff done. Another thing I've been getting interested in is nowitzki and lebron, i think they would do great together, it's also a good way to slowly prepare for maybe acquiring Dwight Howard year 2012.

It's a hard thing to predict, it all comes down to what person LBJ partners up with. Apparently clippers have become relevant again and Chris Paul seems to be a probable candidate to play with lebron as well.

And yeah it's quite a fiasco, the john salmons signing 5 years for 39 mil? outrageous.
same with drew gooden and his contract. scrubs are getting it good.

It's certainly going to be interesting but i personally hope for lebron staying at cleveland and putting pressure on the front office to make sure they acquire something good through trades mid season. They're obviously going to have big-man problems but they still got jamison,varejao, hickson. Byron scott is very interesting, if lebron stays and cleveland team stays intact i think we'll see a very interesting offensive game next year, a lot of three pointers!

but yeah, hopefully lebron stays.

John Salmons, glad we got rid of him. All he does is shoot and not with good accuracy. Bucks can keep him, just more cancerous people out of the FA pool.

Chris Bosh and D Wade to the Miami Heat.

Tomorrow at 9 ET is Lebron's press conference to find out where he is going.

Its offical, next year D Wade, Chris Bosh, and Lebron James will be on the Miami Heat. Sad day when 3 superstars need to piggy back off each other for a shot at a championship.

Yes, but the same case can be made for the lakers stacked team.

Also, i don't think bosh is really a superstar.

CB4

* 5× NBA All-Star (2006–2010)
* All-NBA Second Team (2007)
* NBA All-Rookie First Team (2004)

What worries me is how the chemistry is gonna work between dwade and lebron, they're both looking to score 25-30 a night.

What's good about bosh is that he'll be at least a 20/10 guy who will be able to have big games when it's required of him. He also brings a mid-range game which cavs lacked.
Overall, their team is far from finished. It's time to bring in good roleplayers and only way is like lebron said. They all have to take a paycut to be able to get some solid roleplayers.

I'm not an heat expert but what's the situation on beasley? It feels like he's gonna leave now with that trio. He's not gonna get much responsibility compared to what he can get with other teams.

Overall, we're gonna have a lot of heat fans next year Razz

He said in the interview last night that he was not going to have to put up 30 pts a night with a high pct in FGs. I think he is being lazy about this whole thing. They will not be considered the greats that they should be, but instead taking the easy route to just overwhelm teams with their decision.

I also agree with you on CB4, but thats going to change. There is no telling what his numbers will look like. Like, how do guard D Wade and Lebron James. Double team???? Yeah Chris Bosh's numbers go up, D Wade and Lebron's numbers will go down a bit.

Also the Lakers have a semi-stacked team. So do the Celtics, but other teams could compete with those teams. Having 2 of the best players in the NBA on the same team with a top 10 Power Forward is kinda unfair, but I think the chemistry just won't work for them at least in their first year.

Yeah, the economic situation for miami heat was great this FA season. They remind me of like real madrid within football. I agree, they're taking the easy way out and none of them will get into top 20 of all time playing like this. They're in their prime and joining together. If we were in 2014-2015 and this happened it would be okay, kind of like how ray allen, kg and Paul pierce came together. But yeah for right now it seems very unfair.

If i were lebron I would have tried to set plans in motion to teamup somewhere along the line in 2012 with Dwight Howard somewhere. Those two together is the best combination and adding 2 more years of offense to dwight they would create a sick 2 player dynasty. They would both get famous and lebron would do it the right way. He would probably get into top 10 being known as the guy who helped out howards offense by dishing it to him and becoming a mentor while also putting up 28-30/7/9.

Honestly, lebron paniced. He's itching for a ring like heroin. Overall, I think at the end he might come out with 3 MVP awards, 1 DPOY, 2-3 rings etc but still not have made enough sound in the NBA to get to top 10 with the miami heat team.

I would have loved to see him team up with a Dwight Howard to start something big. I just can't believe he got on ESPN to slap his home in the face, but hey its a business.

Yeah haha, the whole espn thing. He truly made a big thing out of it and it's coming out bad for him. If he just announced it like durant/kobe he would probably get out of it easier. I'm pretty sure people would be pissed but he took a shit on cleveland on national tv.

What changes do you think Orlando will be doing in order to bolster their offense and get up to the same level as miami?

Also it seems like mike miller is moving to Miami, not a bad move.

Orlando needs to take what they have now and make sure everyone is healthy before they have any encounters with the Heat. The Celtics and the Magic (and now the Bulls) are the teams to beat in the East. Even New York may be a force if Amare can pull off some good numbers night in and out.

Lol, just only noticed the Flo rida miami heat song.

Man jesus it's so shit. I still think there are way too many problems with the Heat team especially if you look at Boston and Celtics. There will be a huge mismatch at PG vs boston (rondo) and vs orlando it's basically just Howard, who is gonna guard that guy? Z? No way.

I hope Orlando find a way to get CP3 then I think Orlando - Magic series will be the most awesome in years. But seems like there is no way they're trading away chris paul without Emeka and nobody wants to touch that ugly contract.

LBJ, Wade, and Bosh can't be in the whole game. Thats their problem. With little to no bench or role players, they will be great in the reg season only to get stomped in the post season. Also, Bosh will not be a great player like everyone thinks. He is too soft in the post and will get used. Honestly I don't think he can put up 20/10 a night if he isn't the focal point of the offense like he was in Toronto. Boston and Magic still can win the east, and with my Bulls getting a little better in the offseason, they will become a threat too.

My only thing is that no one matches up with the Lakers at all. Thats a huge problem having Gasol and a semi-healthy Bynum in the post. Celtics could barely hang on, Magic was destroyed last time they we're in the Finals, and Miami has Big Z lol. Big Z is a great jump shooter, but he is old and won't be a threat in the middle ever again. Hell he can barely rebound.....

Also CP3 to the Magic would be great, but honestly, Chris Paul messed up this offseason hoping he was going to get traded.

38 days until monday night tip off. holy crap i can't wait... there's a slim chance that i'll be in san diego that week as well so i might be able to see it live through tv Laughing

feels like this season is gonna be okayish and more of a last chance for lebron to prove himself. if it doesn't work out for heat i think a lot of the spotlight is gonna turn on OKC because they're gonna be a monster team in the 2011-2012 season and of course do well this season as well. Really starting to like Kevin durants play as well.

I really want to see OKC doing a great job this season. The team looks stacked with all that young energy! I really want my bulls to do a great job too this season. Only thing that will make this season sad, is watching the Cavs get the crap beat out of them. Also been hearing that Carmelo Anthony wants out of Denver, where do you think he will end up?

Yeah, cavs are going into another dark age again, sad.. but yeah I have no idea where carmelo wants to go. I heard something about New York and that would be quite a team with him on there but bulls is the best choice however they'd have to give up Noah which doesn't seem reasonable to the bulls front office atm.

Carmelo is a tricky person and i was expecting him to play out his career at denver tbh. I think his best shot is bulls and it would be great if bulls got him but they'd have a big problem at the center position.

What do you think?

Yeah I dont wanna give up Noah, Noah is becoming a great player, while Melo is really good, he will decline soon, and the East is stacked enough as it is...

His best chances are New York or Charlotte with CP3. Bulls could use him, but only for Deng (I think Deng is trash)

And so it begins, first injury in the big three setup. Dwade is out for at least two weeks. At least it happened in the preseason which is always good.

I have a feeling that we're gonna see lebrons first "major" injury this season, we saw from last season that he is starting to crumble down slowly now.

Season tip-off on tuesday!

I predict 98-92 to Miami Heat. Should be an interesting game.

I give you that, Boston is the best Defensive team in the East, but.....we will see, they lost, which everyone predicted in the first place. They looked terrible, and LBJ finally took control to try to make a come back. All in all, this was one game, they have time to click, but it wont happen in these next 10 maybe 15 games...

I tell you, dwade won't have one of those games again and that's gonna make a HUGE difference when you look at the collective. Same goes for Bosh.
Eitherway the game also showed that when they've finally meshed together they will have no problems with boston, they came back and fought hard. I think Miami is going to be the most intensive team in the league, that charge on paul pierce by lebron was great Laughing thought he was going to ask for a wheelchair again.

They should probably try to get someone like eric dampier for these tough games when you go against Howard, shaq etc. The center position is just way too weak.

We'll see how they do against 76ers tonight, hopefully we'll see them get back on track. They didn't seem frustrated at all in the press conference so everything should be alright.

They are going to get beat by teams with Big Men, who play defense well and can stretch the floor out. Bosh is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too soft, so what if he gets a couple 20+ pt games, he is too soft and will rely on his jumper instead of getting in the post and making magic happen. And he got raped on defense last night, I dont think he had a chance against an old Garnett's jumper, or an even older Shaq's power slams. He couldnt even hold Big Baby Davis....

Lakers are easily the best team, with the Jazz and Thunder coming up there too. I honestly feel bad for the Heat when they go up against the West teams like the Mavs, Spurs, Rockets, Lakers, and the Jazz when they have sick ass postup players that will destroy Bosh and Big Slow (Z).
