my god this game has some of the worse performance I have ever seen on my rig,.. the framerate is terrible,.. for how it looks,.. lol fallout3 looked better in my opinion,..
will try few different drivers

I'm currently on the quest Wild Card: Side Bets and the only faction I haven't interacted with are the Great Khans.
I found their camp and the fact that I helped them out in the past has me already idolized with them.
But there doesn't seem to be anything for me to do there?
 Spoiler: | If I ask Papa Khan to break up the alliance with Caesar's Legion he just goes "nah, don't wanna hear it" even though I got whatshisface's journal (the emissary from Caesar). And the other Khan who said he's for helping the NCR against Caesar doesn't care about the journal as well :/
Oh, I convinced the two at the drug lab to make some meds as well but that's about it. |

Framerate is absolutely FLAWLESS here bud. 60fps vsync locked 99% of the time with Ultra settings. You need to use that d3d9.dll posted in this thread.

Took the time to learn Caravan properly and man is it some easy money. And even if you win the full bet the player still has half that amount for another round (and so on).

I'm roaming the countryside before I even think of entering the Strip, so I have no opinion of it yet. I can say that I was afraid that the Strip would be somewhat of a letdown. Mainly because I knew I was going to build it up to be far more than it could ever hope to be. We'll see once I get there.
I do have to commend them on adding so much content outside of the Strip, especially when you consider that the Strip was all that was really advertised.

Because it takes a week for Microshit to go through patches before they're allowed to release them on the 3shitty. I have no idea if it's the same on PS3.

I think the Strip suffered a bit from having it split into different sections with loading screens inbetween (thanks again, consoles) but overall it's a nice enough place. I expected a lot more people in the casinos tho, the places are pretty empty (and places like Gomorrah lower Brimstone was completely empty, which I thought was odd) but that shouldn't be a problem to fix with mods.

On the Birds Of a Feather mission I went out to the rock where this guy is supposed to be to deliver package.I literally watched him walk inside the big rock and I could not talk to him as he was in the ground and inside it!Luckily a reloaded save fixed it and the 2nd time he was talking to me.
Also shot a rad scorpion once and it fell through the ground and into oblivion while watching the death camera.Victoria also got stuck inside a fence.Game needs serious fixes.

| Spoiler: | You should get rid of the legion dude sitting next to him, you have to lure him out in a convo, you need quite some speech for it tho. Plus you need to talk to this chick and do a mission for her. Then you can break up the alliance if thats all done |

By default (As I said.) and via a bug settings are read from Fallout_Default.ini now so VSync is enabled which also causes this mouse-lag, it also disables the mouse smoothing fix unless said tweaks are added to said INI file.
(I keep all three game INI files identical to make things easier with a backup of the default INI with only light modifications for compatibility.)

It's the same version as - http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=47 - just ported over to New Vegas, hopefully without the UI lag due to the GFX heavy menu.
(Possibly also with various tweaks and fixes since then as it was one of the first larger overhauls of the game UI plus support for the new New Vegas UI's like for crafting.)

that ui working fine here, just tried it, the game is so unfair though  why does the 10mm sub mg work like its a pee shooter for me but soon as the guy im taking it off manages to use it on me first i get downed in like one burst lol...
fucksake i need stronger damage mod just for me its fucking retarded one sided this lol

Just tested it and it looks awesome! You can even combine it with MTUI, for the most part. The "options" and "main" MENUS folders can be merged with this interface mod, giving best of both worlds without overwriting or losing too much in the process. I still want DaRNified UI though... MTUI is pants in comparison.

the health reduction trick seems to be flawed im reading and i really dont wanna play with odd behaving deaths of people or not, lots of health on npc is bad enough but this would prob make it a bit silly... i still think it need to be done with more care by looks of it
