Question about E-DE:
 Spoiler: | Do I need to do something special to get its memory fixed? It says the robot reacts to certain keywords, I assumed I'd hear those keywords eventually. But nothing has happened yet, I only have the first log. |
I really am disappointed with energy weapons. I can only use a laser pistol and I have an almost broken down Laser RCW since none can be found. Ammo is also a big problem, most baddies have normal ammo.
Where do I get "Primer, Large pistol" for making 10mm rounds? Breaking down smaller rounds only gives small pistol primers

Mods allow achievements as far as I'm aware but using any console command disables them until you load a earlier savegame.

If you update any of your games do they work after you've updated them with patches? The dll is simple just forcing the game to use DX9 instead of DX10/11 which is used by your default DX dll in your system folder...

Here it is the hotfix. Replace the FalloutNV.esm file and that's about it. If you use the SkidRow release, the crack will still work, as the hotfix doesn't change anything else.

You can use the SKIDROW crack with this, you do not need the "updated" exe file.
The ncf is only needed if you have an authentic copy since it is STEAM. |
ill get the skidrow update anyway less chance of anything going wrong i guess

Exe did update but if it's just some minor version number it might be redundant indeed, it does say 1.1.0.268 or what it was instead of 1.0.0.268 or what it was so that could be likely.

putting the cartridge mod on the Weathered 10mm pistol causes a graphical glitch. The gun disappears and there is a bright overlay on the screen.

Funny how that goes - I decided before starting to concentrate only on Guns and Explosives for this run and the ONLY good stuff I can find is energy weapons, got a unique plasma rifle that looks great, but my energy weapons skill is 14. Got Archimedes II as well but who knows how effective that'll be either with my crappy skill.
Reached New Vegas and I still use 10mm Pistol/Service Rifle/Big Boomer (the only unique Gun, granted a good one). Gun Runners had some nice stuff but with my crappy Barter a Sniper Rifle in not-so-pristine condition was almost 7k.

do people use the deph of field mod? it made me feel dizzy lol even stuff fairly close was blurry what the fuck :S
setcamerafov 90 etc in the games console feels better aswell... unless you havea crap square monitor ^_^

I found the Brotherhood of steel in a bunker in Hidden Valley, then proceeded to look for the bunker with the NCR ranger, and somehow manged to find it - but I told him to leave coz of the brotherhood, which got me killed when the brotherhood showed up. Now I messed up my load and am now exiting the brotherhood bunker again - to go look for the NCR ranger. BUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME, i can't find the bunker with him in again o_O
Anyone? Been spending close to 1.5 hours trying to find the bunker (the quest is still active also)

The quest-marker should lead you directly to him  If it doesn't work, just keep heading forward as you come out of the Bunker - that will lead you to his bunker.

...the quest marker leads me to the brotherhood bunker (I tried that several times lol) But anyway I'll give it a try =) (highly doubt I'll find it lol)
