When I try to remap the keys it says to press a key you want to remap and i tried every key on the computer and nothing happens. The only thing I can do is click back with the mouse. Anyone one else having this problem or know how to fix it?
UPDATE: I just started the game and when it says tell me your name I cant type anything at all. Its like the keyboard doesnt function at all in gameplay. Same thing for walking or moving at all only the mouse is working. Never had this problem before. Keyboard is working fine for everything else.

do you have a gamepad plugged in? it overrides the keyboard in all functions

playing in windowed mode solved the problem, but the window is not exactly centered so I cant see some stuff on the screen. Ive never played a game in windowed mode so im not sure how to fix it, but at least I can play for now.

Then it doesn't have focus when fullscreen ?
Have you tried updating DirectX and gfx drivers ?

in fullscreen the screen is black and then eventually loads after a few mins and then the keyboard doesnt work. Is there a way to resize in windowed mode? No I havent updated anything. Im fine playing windowed if I can get the screen to the right place.

Alt Tab out of the game and it'll prob seem like your mouse pointer isn't anywhere, just drag your mouse all the way to the side the screen isnt and left click, your mouse cursor should show up, then just drag the window from the top as usual

game seems to be working normally now in fullscreen except sound is lagging and not working properly, but at least I can play it now.

Tried this and it didnt work. I cant get the window to move at all. Playing windowed also fixes my sound problem but its annoying that the bottom of the screen is cutoff. Anything else I can try?

your clicking the very top of the window right? I did the very top right corner to get it to move

Thanks I finally got it to work. The problem was that I had a web browser open and it kept switching to that when I alt-tab, but then I closed everything but Fallout and alt-tab didnt do anything. I ctrl+alt+del and then I could alt-tab to that window and it worked. Thanks again.
