How many DLCs are there?
Is one the from pakrat included in sabin´s files?

Well, I unpacked with phoenix this time and I'm still getting a "FalloutNV has stopped working" (access violation) error, so I guess it's unrelated to the crack/release and a problem I have with the game.
Any idea what could cause this ?

i originally only had the 1 - classic pack,
sabin's has Caravan Pack
Classic & Tribal Pack
Mercenary Pack

Agreed. There's a fix for the falloutprefs.ini for the main gameplay but it doesn't change mouse acceleration behavior in the pip boy or the game's other menus. Also, the game has multiple falloutprefs.ini (one in steam folder). Turning off steamcloud seems to minimize that. |
Hmm, thanks. Makes me wish I had a wired 360 controller (assuming pc version can use said controller, though I can't see why not...)

It seems it is the Tribal Pack and The Classic Pack that are still broken. The clothing and weapons both still give errors. From the Classic the errors are for the Weathered 10mm Pistol and the Armored Vault 13 Suit and for Tribal it is the Tribal Raiding Armor and Broad Machete.

Deleted My Documents\My Games\FalloutNV and it starts now ... strange :l

Must have gotten something other than the skidrow somehow.. Thers no way to install the game? Only by doing it with steam, and i cant since it needs a key. Had this problem before.. any help?

It runs great for me, this is the steambought version though. Only bugs I've experienced have been very minor, such as a misplaced mine, ie hanging 20 cm above the ground.
I've played for 8 hrs in total.

Getting tons of framerate issues here, seemingly regardless of graphical settings. This on a QX9650@3.8ghz and a 5870 as well as 8gb RAM. Must be something wrong somewhere.
Just tried messing with the settings; with p.much everything turned off/low except the distance settings, I was getting 20fps in a scene. Restarted the game with everything on/high and I was getting 25fps.

My game crashes on startup....installed skidrow....tried every setting from launcher and even deleted fallout settings folder from my documents....the game starts with first 2 screens....then crashes....

Huge Frame rate problems, doesn't matter if I turn everything down to minimum, same as if it's all on max. Seems to be bad whenever I turn, maybe a draw distance issue.
Core2 2.6, GTX260m

I'll just download the SR one and give it a shot before I go back and read all that stuff.
But I'll just guess that it's 2 pages worth of "Is it out?!?1", and the other 8 or 9 pages will be either "It works awesome for me!", "It doesn't work for me, crashes all the time!", "This game is great!", "This game sucks donkey balls!", "I get great performance!", "I get 4 frames per second and I've got six GeForce 666's and dual quad cores!", or "Meh." Found some kind of fix for some of those having framerate issues. Pressing ~ to bring up the console and writing toggleEmotions seems to help. Not a complete fix, but actually makes it playable for me. Nvidia users should also, apparently, disable water multisampling.

Aight so i started playing, and noticed my framerate dipped from 60+ to 20 in the introduction.
No fuss i ignored it, untill i left the house, it was stuck at 22 an unplayable rate.
After strugglin with the settings i gave up and fired up XP, guess what rock solid performance.
Tested this two times on the exact same location (save spot), W7 would stick at 20 fps, while xp it goes up to 50.
Strange shit if you ask me, anyways im back to the game, starting actually.
All on ultra settings btw. 1920x1080 no aa.
