The latest Chart Track figures have revealed that Medal of Honor buyers prefer the Xbox 360 edition over any other, with the PC edition way behind its rivals.

According to the official chart firm: ‘52% of sales were on Xbox 360, 43% on PS3 and 5% on PC’.

It doesn't include numbers from DD services yes? Then it's useless info.

Ya but the people that buy games on Steam are a special kind of people (often short bus kind of special).

The kind of people that dont mind paying full price for a game simply because of its name or because the ads looked cool.

I myself am the kind of person that buys it in the local store for 20 euro less then Steam or orders it online for 30 euro less.

Ofc people always blame piracy is the reason for lower PC sales but i myself think its because alot of PC gamers have higher standards then console gamers do.

I am not seeing the bad graphics that everyone seem to notice. The game looks great to me and is in my mind better than MW2. Wide open spaces actually feel like they are big, lighting is good and characters are pretty well detailed and animated.
May be if I start zooming in staring at the ground I might not like the somewhat low-res texturing, but during the course of the game itself it looks fine to me.
It is not Crysis, but it's not really bad either.

The flames looked odd I agree, but that is something I paid attention to only once Smile

I do somewhat agree.

It is awesome how large the maps/missions are in singleplayer. So they did a good job with that.

That said, they should have included higher resolution textures once you get close enough to objects. Because if you do focus in on a particular area it looks like shit. This detracts even though the maps are so huge in singleplayer.

This game runs fine even on a 8800GT, so you have definitely some problem there Laughing

Enough to play most games on acceptable framerates. MW2 in 1920x1080 works 60FPS, this MoH crap has less than 10. Not to mention typically broken mouse control indication that this is straight from consoles port Sad
Try these, pretty much fixed the mouse issues I had with the game:

I forgot to say that changing these lines in the MOHAEngine.ini file

bSmoothFrameRate=false
OneFrameThreadLag=false

improved a bit the mouse responsiveness, at least for me (it's a common procedure when it comes to UE3 powered games)Wink

also in
(XP) c:\Profiles\<username>\My Documents\EA Games\Medal of Honor\Config\MOHAInput.ini

change "bEnableMouseSmoothing" to false. This cures the jumpy mouse on frame rate fluctuations.

It's got to be a hardware combination or a certain chipset that's causing problems. I've got a shitty computer. But I play it on medium for most things and high for a few at 1360x768 and it's smooth as butter. Sounds to me like the game has issues with certain combinations of hardware

How do you change the FOV in SP? Default setting is set too low, its like running around with zoomed sniper rifle, wtf?!
I tried changing settings in ini files, none of that worked.

OK so i hated this game at first, but I stayed with it.

I am really glad I did. It gets ALOT better. Yes the AI stays pretty terrible, and your teammates will continue to walk into your line of fire throughout - but the missions get ALOT better as you play.

Also, i've probably already done 3-3.5 hours and only about half way through, it doesn't feel shorter than MW2 which is fine by me (hate long games anyway - get bored).

Anyone that dismissed this after the first two levels should go back and give it a proper shot - it's actually pretty fun later on (sniping, for example).

Dice have supported the PC Bad Company 2 title nicely though nothing really "new" (The maps are all the same but unlocked for other modes and instead there will be a mini MP Vietnam themed expansion.) as with the X360 and PS3 DLC for it, eight patch was released early last week along with server software build 12 so some support is nice but I'm not a fan of this sort of thing.
(Will be interesting to see what Activision works out with Treyarch for BlackOps, sounds promising so far but things must be chaotic there now as it seems some guy stole a copy, sold it and it got uploaded and is spreading, heh.)
