Why are you waiting for others ?
I use my HTC dream and if I have a problem I just jump off and compile the latest payload etc and drop it on my phone.
takes about 30 seconds (give or take) and its easy.

Hmm ok I'm using PS3 break v1.1 the upgradeable version .... and Open Manager 1.161
But when I try to start games I'm getting a eboot.bin file is missing on every game.
I'm using an external drive and I have the folders like this
L:\Gamez\3D Dot Game Heroes\BLES00875\PS3_GAME
is that correct, and why would I be getting this error ......
Edit .... scratch that the search function is actually working now, when did they fix that ..... anyway I'll try again and if I'm still stuck I'll ask again

That's the problem right there mate; You have \3D Dot Game Heroes\BLES00875\PS3_GAME ... that's incorrect. You have to choose one; 3D Dot Game Heroes *or* BLES00875 ... you can't have both as doing that puts the folder too many levels deep for the manager to find the eboot.bin
Either use the GAMEID or your own custom name, not both.

Shit I have been away for a bit.
Which shit do we use now Hermes v4 or Kakaroto PL3?
And Gaia Manager RC8?
I'm still on Cover manager, so that means I have to switch games to Gaia folder from OMAN folder.
Is there a way to move games from Oman folder to Gaia folder without having to reinstall games?
Or can I just install Gaia Manager without deleting cover manager and just use both if I wish?
This shit is getting annoying, different Game managers coming out needing games to be installed in certain folders only for a new manager to be released having us switch games to another folder. We need one fucking game manager and thats it.

Thanks mate, actually used the search engine on here and I think it was actually your post explaining it to someone else that helped me ..... so appreciate you helping again, most people would get pissed off typing it again and again ....
Just started 3d dot action hero or whatever it's called, really loving it at the moment

Nice that they got MOH working, if thats the case, I will be using Hermes v4.
But now comes the really annoying part of to many game managers. Now we got Open Manager 2.1 at the same time Open Manager 1.71.1 gets released.
It will only be a matter of time before people start stripping Open Manager 2.1 features into other Game Managers. We need one game manager to rule them all, but which one?

It doesn't look lile you need that Open Manager 2.0 for MoH... From what I read (my spanish sucks), it seems you just need to install the game on another hdd where the mounted game is (so for example if you wanna use a normal backup manager, you MUST have MoH on an external hdd, don't ask me why).
Anyway, this trick sucks ass, I mean it relies on updates (although for sure GT5 etc will have updates).
What is interesting though but I can't check this since i'm on a ps3key : is it the updated eboot.bin (from the update) that doesn't have any firmware check (if so, then sony will put some on next patches ) or just the PS3 kernel that is silly and actually won't check for a firmware version when a game is launched from an update since you aren't supposed to have the update installed if you have never passed the firmware check (looks like it, but I guess Sony didn't think people would install update prior the first launch ).
If my last hypothesis is true, it could mean we could trick games into creating fake updates (we can create packages !) that simply include the original eboot.bin, and games could boot without the need of waiting/leeching/expecting any update....

What people still don't realize is, the PS3 hack is still relatively new, more and more features are being implemented. Problem is people want it to work 100% right away. Which is fucking stupid.

Exactly. People are so damn impatient. Just reading the forums or comments on the "big" ps3 hacking sites makes me cringe at times. So many idiots and wannabes that show no respect whatsoever toward the achievement that this jailbreak is in the first place.

I bought a Minimus AVR dev board a few days ago, should arrive soon. Is there an updated version of the merged (fixes from three devs in one) compiled hex posted a few pages back by sabin which includes hermes v4?

I've not seen anything that's been updated yet (not to include v4 at least) Sorry :\
