I have asus k8n-e deluxe and it is 40C hot Is this normal???

To you get 40C when your PC is on full load or in idle? 40C is normal. 50C in full load or idle is hot.

50c is acceptable, though when it reaches 65-70 then you gotta think about getting more fans in your case. "Why don't you zip it, Zipfero?" - fraich3

thx the help but my old mainboard (PCCHIPS M950) was only 27Chot

That's why I will have a crossflow fan in my new Stacker case . You won't get a better motherboard air flow.
