They should provide an offline mode then which does not affect the achievements. They're making this te gamers' problem, while it's Blizzard's problem.

A game is not a product. You don't own the game. You own the box, the disc, the manual, but not the game. You can only use it (indefinately) on terms described in the license agreement. If you don't agree with the license, you can return the game to the store. So, if Blizzard says in the license, that you can't use 3rd party programs - that means you can't and they have the right to ban you. Besides, as people have already said. you can use built in cheat codes.

That's what companies want for you to think.

In practice, before fast internet, games were treated as product like anything else you buy in retail store.

Now, the think they can get more money by treating any game as MMO (which are indeed service, not product). Which is really bad trend.

No, that what the law says, deal with it.

Games use to be treated differently, because:

1) the terms of licenses were different;
2) companies didn't care so much about piracy as they do now and they absolutely didn't care about cheating, now they do.

LOL, if you are so eager to fight for a better world, I think there are more important problems than not being able to cheat in games.

Some people in this thread have gone full retard, it seems. Never go full retard.

Also, screw the SP achievements ... where is this world going to when ppl lose their bought game due to that ?

Addendum : Buying stuff is for suckers, because the publisher holds you by the balls.

Sure, I deal with it. By not buying such "services" that can be turned off by flip of the switch, after you already shelled out money.

Although some movement for protecting consumers would be better on long run.

P.S.
I'm ok with "services" that behave like traditional products. It's the least you expect from product you buy (not "lend" or "rent") in retail store.

You do not care about SP achievement?

Guess what? Some do care about SP achievements. Some do not care about MP achievements. There are opinions of all sorts. Why should everyone think the way you do?
Again, someone here like to call "retards" people who do not think like they think, regardless of the presence of logic in that way of thinking.

For me, the question is: did Blizzard warn people "enough" about their tolerance for cheaters in SP.

For the rest, if you don't agree with them, indeed, you can skip the game.

I'm having some weird sound problem since installing the new patch.
For some reason, when I'm in a battle, the sound gets terribly choppy.
Is anyone having the same problem?
I'm using my Mobo's (Gigabyte EP43-DS3L) on-board sound card, and Win7.

EDIT: Nvm.. My speakers cables went off..

For all the crap razor flung @ reloaded in their 'proper' release, it's mildly ironic that the reloaded rls is the only one that works now that blizzard's blacklisted the razor crack.

So get the RLD release, if that's what you were asking about.
