The online part doesn't require any key, though it's mediocre at best and absolutely not issues-free. |

Massive lag, problems with matchmaking and also this:

I found that My Player mode is hard as hell. Is it possible to at lower level than Pro?

.....i thought the graphical differences with the 360 and PC version was fixed with the player LOD being set to 3 in the config...
What exactly are we missing in the PC version (graphically) compared to the consoles.

Basically self shadowing on players, global lighting and ambient occlusion. |

Are we supposed to overwrite both 2k12 demo.rar and 2k12 part 2.rar?

Thanks for the heads up, it's nice to see that the community is working hard to fix the small flaws of the PC version
@madmax: I haven't tried these mods yet, but seems that they both modify the same file (global.iff), so that's the reason why they can't be used together.

game could use with some major patching, ai is frankly terrible, playermode is broken , just to clarify . if you or teammate trows a pass, to someone and it gets punched away by opposite team,
noone apart player that was to receive pass will go for the ball, im sick of watching my teammates standing 2 steps away from loose ball now and then, and never bothering to move,
out of bound issue, where you jump and land "supposedly out of bounds " , or where you get pass , and can stand whole game, but second you move ( away ) you get out of bounds which makes no sense,
player selection is based on skill points not on performance, subs are based on rotation and never on the performance, i had bad games, and bad matchups, yet i can loose whole quarter and i wont get subbed , and there are games where i score everything i shoot, rebound everything i want, and block everyone around, yet i get subbed and then we loose the game
how are you supposed to be selected to rookie team, when its based on skill points, im candidate for rookie of the year, and best performing rookie, yet i dont make rookie team, and i make 5 best rookies of the year? ( you can see in award race )
association mode still stuck in half manager/ half playing mode and i hate it , i dont wanna do silly drills every month , when i can set everything to be managed, yet i have to play drills.. ruins everything ,
controls and fake pumps, i swear playing pf the biggest issue i face is fake pumps or instant shots.. you just dont know which one you will get..i know how to pump a fake, but sometimes you just make a shot , and it ends up in bad shot selection, when it was supposed to be pump..
i even started considering buying xbox controller, cuz they have fake pump as actually different key combination, not like us .. where ai can shoot even if it was quick pump, and sometimes wont shoot ( esp when times is running out ) no matter how hard you press god damn shoot button..
apart that , great game , really disappointed i didnt made rookie team which doesnt make any sense. was i supposed to have 75+ skill points or what.. just 58 here, sg/sf players probably got more but thats still absurd to expect me to have that

I think the better option would be to merge the global.iff from 'real eyes & sweet' mod with the one that fixes shadows, somebody is probably working on that.

The mod I posted adds the shadows directly to the clothes, giving a great "dynamic" sensation when the players move. Personally I prefer it to the selfshadows fix available at nba-2k.com |

Installed it using JSGME, game looks really, really, nice now with the config, sweat, real eyes question is what did he mean by 'only 10 courts' and will others need to release a full patch of his patch.
And did he do all the jersey's even the oldies and the sunday thingies, there's a lot of jersey's in the game.

He meant that the mod contains 10 arenas with improved reflections/lighting, while the others are unchanged.

I fail at this game.
Played it once, the pc controller just doesn't cut it and i have a good one.
It's a saitek p2 2700 controller.
What pisses me off even more is that they constantly always use the 360 controller layout even though it's a pc game.
