Arcania looks better even though it stutters...a lot. Of course I have everything set to maximum and get pretty good frames, just the stuttering is a bit annoying. Fun game, so far imho. so, if i play on my 1680x1050 i can expect what ? Add AAx2 and i get 20 fps ?
before making a game, how about making an engine ?

I would like to go back and test it out further based on my experience and that article but unfortunately shortly after the cliff monastery you jump down a small cliff thing to reach a pass into the jungle area and can't return, teleports might work but I have not found one yet.
EDIT: Detaching the camera (freecam) debug mode could work but it's at a lower detail level as I'm not actually there and thus the area isn't fully loaded.

It stuttered somewhat before the patch (Prolonged playing made it worse so likely also a memory leak problem.) but I never found it that bad, the Silver Lake great forest area and Tooshoo swamp Blackwater town had the worst of it though but they're very detailed and cramped so that's explained, I'll see if I can't go back and see how it is now if I can get back easily or perhaps that camera trick could work.

Does the reloaded crack work with the new patch? I'm curious about what files are being patched because I'm willing to give it a try with the latest update.

No, the new patch is just the Arcania.exe -- whereas Reloaded's old Arcania.exe will just overwrite that.

Last time I checked, flaming is a tad bit more worthless than any comment that is on topic...As far as how worthless the rest of my comment was; I was merely trying to point out that it is a game engine deficiency, not a rig deficiency. If I wanted to brag, I would talk about how much money I make and all of the houses I own and that I'm so much better than all of you here...blahblahblahblah. I wonder where people get the idea that most forums are filled with elitist fuckheads who think that their comments are more relevant than the people who are actually trying to participate and help? derp.

I thought that I had a VPO against you? Wow, those really are worth about as much as the paper that they are printed on...
And to clarify what I meant by, "stuttering," I merely meant that there is a slightly visible stuttering effect, more like frameskip than framerate loss. I get ~50fps pretty much everywhere, but it seems like my screen is vibrating a bit. I've yet to try the patch, and hopefully it helps as has been reported.

does anyone know if there is a way in the XMl fliles to bind actions to the mouse wheel or even the scrolling wheel up or down? will they work if u have the keyboard number.. i want to bind zoom to the middle mouse button.

Self titled #1 Online gaming mag 4players.de gave 40% for PC and 30% for 360. I agree with most what they say but i have to admit i felt traces of fun when i found that big hammer in the mines. But really this is a RPG for kids. Full respect to PB for creating a much better game Risen in much shorter time. And testicle cancer to jowood.
