It's not Multi5... it's only English, so it's probably a beta.

the game automatically chooses the language according to your internal ps2 language as i heard, try setting it to some different language and try again.

its a good game, but as soon as i started playing it i got reminded of why i love mgs so much more than splinter cell, this game is dark as hell,
so i basically have 2 options,
either run around in the dark as if i m blind, or turn on the nightvision which makes everything look like shit and also makes the framerate drop.
ah and one thing always kept me wondering, how in the hell does sam manage to stay hidden with these ultra-bright green goggles basically pointing to his position in the dark?
well, good game but doesnt come close to mgs3 gameplay-wise, story-wise...
not compareable at all.

Basic stealth? MGS is basic stealth, hide in a box and shit.  Splinter Cell is more realistic stealth. Maybe you mean SC is more basically stealth and MGS is more stealth action. |
You obviously didn't understand.
Splinter cell is just a stealth game and nothing else, hence the world "basic". MGS is so much more than a stealth game. It has one of the best stories ever created, it has heart, great gameplay features and not only stealth, it has everything. I dont even see it as a stealth game to be honest. That's what I mean with splinter cell being a "basic stealth game".
And as I said, if I want stealth only I would pick splinter cell since it does that better. Maybe you shuld read posts to the end before you pick out parts you dont agree with?

even regarding only the stealth aspect i still prefer mgs3, the camo system is just great, and i d also put cqc in the stealth category, in splinter cell there isnt anything that comes close to cqc.
in the end it might be a matter of opinion but i m just not into too dark games where you have to turn on nightvision.
i prefer stealth as in hiding behind obstacles and using camouflage instead of hiding in dark and hardly being able to see the enemy yourself, what i like about stealth games usually is the power you have over your enemy, which is,
you can see them without being seen and you follow their every step, so their lives basically lie in your hands; while in splinter cell i dont get that feeling, i m often as lost as the enemy, but i atleast have 3 shiney spots to blind em.
