I finished the first mission and I thought it was nothing incredible... Just like CoD MW2, maybe less good because the textures are shitty (CoD does look a lot nicer) and it isnt running at 60fps like CoD.
Maybe cuz I read it's a PS3 port... I'm not sure. Need to play more. Of course it's good, but I was disappointed compared to CoD MW2 and I think CoD BO will be betteR....

Game isnt bad, great sound effects that makes my receiver go nuts in big firefights. For those who might think playing online, the game need a code so for us pirates, need to pay 800ms Points to play on Live.

I guess EA really did put their shit into action then. Buy a preowned game? You have to buy their "VIP Club!" code else you can't play online.

After playing BC2, MW2 is clearly an inferior game. SP wise. It feels like a rerun of MW1 (witch was good). Campaign was bad, story sucked, the pacing was too Ramboish for my taste, felt like I was playing with Flash on steroids + guns, the whole time.
That whole "FPS console perfection" you're talking about, well I clearly missed it by a mile.

I'm loving it so far. And I recommend playing it on Hard because it ain't hard at all. I guess on Easy and Medium there's god mode on lol.

Actually it's just one person, still, no harm in a little debate, I guess. But yeah, glad I'm not the only one who sees things that way.

Story is shit, nothing hollywoodishly epic, original and/or shocking (like protagonists getting killed off and burned in COD or the nuke etc.) yet, it's very generic and, ahem, patriotic.
Gunplay doesn't really differ from MWs - it's great, I'm playing on Hard with aim assist off and loving it. Sound is super, as mentioned by Kommando.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

Cant wait to give this a try latter. The last few years I always play on hard with aim assists off also. And I dont even consider myself anything but an average gamer. Glad to hear positive reports on the sound, the best in my opinion thus far can be found in the bad company games.

See? Was that so hard? Now I know why you are saying what you're saying. You backed up your opinion, see how that works? While I disagree with you, I accept your viewpoints.
The perfection I was talking about are the controls, and the feel. Nothing can beat Call of Duty for how fluid it plays, like, literally. Running, jumping, shooting, etc. This is the third time I'm saying this. Is it honestly your opinion that the game mechanics and the engine operation are inferior?

I agree.. So disappointing, specially compared to the trailers, unless the ps3 version looks a lot better ? Some textures feel like a ps2 game...

Somehow I don't know why you would buy this if you play MW2...as someone says, it's really similar, only a little worse. The story is more generic and less appealing than MW2. The multiplayer seem alot like it too...only they use the frostbite engine for the mp-part so it looks more like BC2 without tanks and choppers to drive. So it's like a poor mans MW2 for single and looks like a poor mans BC2 for multi? I haven't tried the multi yet though and maybe it's really good, I know a friend has preordered it so I'm gonna test it there before actually buying. But as for singleplayer, no dice...and as I said before, not even worth downloading because it's so short..

Im also disappointed, it is incredibly ugly and rough around the edges. The game feels slightly clunky also. I have notice occasional sound skips etc also. Sound fx, voice acting and dialogs are pretty good. Playing on hard with no aim assist and the difficulty would be considered about normal, maybe a little less. Dont know if I will go back, the game is to generic seen it and done it all for the better before. The videos to me did make the game look better than what it is
