Hello,
I can not see a certain contact when I log on to Messenger Live wih my account. I can see everyone else on my contact list as "available" when they come online except that one person who is always "unavailable". I'll refer to this person as X. I used a mutual freind's account to log on and see if X was available online. Sure enough X was available for chat on my freinds account. So I though there was something wrong with my PC at first. So I tested my own acount from few other computers and X is stil unavailable. Did anyone come across this problem before?

No. I did not block the person X and they did not block me. I did install Messenger Live 2011 recently. Could there a configuration in there that I may have overlooked that changed a setting in my account?

I figured it out. I logged in to my account from another computer running the previous version of Windows Live Messenger. It showed that person X was indeed blocked. This is a new person on my contact list and I know I did not block them. Windows Live Messenger 2011 did not display this contact blocked at all. So I unblocked the person X using the previous version of Windows Live Messenger and everything works fine now. Thank you.

You could also have used an alternative client (from your PC), like Pidgin, Miranda etc to check out the accounts.
MSN sucks btw.
