Is there already or will there be a proper release with proper Stealth for this game? I heard the Marvel release isn't quite Live-safe.

I thought this was easier then DR1 during the first half of the game but then I encountered Spoiler: | the sword-wielding twin sisters | and got raped several times in a row.

I use melee weapons on all bosses no problems. With the bike chainsaw guy you need to get him 'stuck' against a wall or obstacle.

good luck with the magician duo later on then
tip for health restoration: only ever drink 2 bottles of vodka right after another and wait a bit (think 1-2 minutes should do it) till you drink the next one (or two), or just bring food and alternate vodka and food-->no barfing. oh, and the 2 seem to have a hard time getting behind the bar so it's kinda safe there. one got even stuck once, so i did naughty things to her with the whipped cream bottle
btw, it's one of those bossfights where you actually only have to kill one of em and the other one will...well, see for yourself. and by all means, don't fortget to pick up their katanas! they're the best non-combo weapons imo, blazed through all the boss fights with them |
I used the Light MachineGun found just before you go upstairs to the disco. A Little bit to the left there is a wall with counters, left to that is a door. Enter it and go to the backroom. There it was lying on the floor.
By the way there is soon this guy who is very hungry to be saved. Go get him and give him some snacks to get him follow you. When you get him to the save point he will give
you Zombrex. And the guy with a suitcase will give you $ 50000 when you get him to safety. First you must protect him while he uses the ATM“s to get money.
Spoiler: | On the Outside at scene 5-1 you must fight the Big Earl. Hes on a balcony using Sniper rifle and a machete. I climbed there and used jump and hit him with a sword. It works great. Dont let him use his rifle. Go jump and hit him with sword from air and run around him. It ended up very easy that way. |

Another optional Zombrex:
Spoiler: | There is Zombrex in the northern casino, where you fight the twins, on a Aztec/Maya/whatever themed object. You can climb up on it and find some Zombrex.
I guess you need it if you want to save the guy who needs Zombrex on day one. |

This map is great. You can find 4 optional zombrex stashes.

The tearing from upscale was fixed with MT framework in later revisions and games. Dead rising 2 isn't using MT frame work though, it's using its own engine and they really went overboard with the zombie count. What's the point of all the zombies when the fps drops to bellow 15 at times even during some cut scenes?

I played the second-latest MT game, RE5, and it suffered from the same tearing earlier games did. I don't know about LP2 though.
The zombie count doesn't seem to be the problem, the only huge drops I saw were caused by fire and liquid (blood) effects in cut scenes with no zombies on screen.

You need to give her a shot 3-4 times during the game, shots a acquired during regular side missions (and the game tells you which side missions award shots, you can't miss them unless you really want to) so finding them for the girl is easy, so it doesn't suck any fun out of it.
The gameplay mechanisms are fine. The are unforgiving and unlike most games these days don't treat you like a child. You have a watch and you know where you have to be when to continue the story, it even shows you diagrams of how much time you have for which quest but it's up to you to keep a clear head and tackle them in a strategic order (so you don't waste time running around on the map). I like the challenge and I think it adds a lot of tension to the game. If you want a more simplistic (but still fun) zombie game, go for RE5.

you really just have to get an item to her in the safe room every 24 hours. it's no problem really.
I just completed the game on the first playthrough without restarting and with successfully completing all missions (except one at the end I chose not to do but I won't spoil anything).
The time limits are not exactly frustratingly hard. I can imagine the game would be a walk in the park if you go through once and level up and then restart and do everything.
The problem is really just that you can't screw around if you want to do all the missions.
There's just no time to waste, ever.
I just couldn't help but laugh when the game enabled playing poker in the safe room with survivors. I mean... wtf? Time actually passes while you play so that was just totally worthless... Maybe I'll check it out on another *fun* playthrough where I just screw around until it ends. Then I guess I can spend like 8 game hours on playing poker. lol
but anyway, the game is definitely lots of fun and I enjoyed it about as much as the first game, maybe slightly more, but it could have been so much better...

goddamn they could've at least sprayed some water on this turd to make it shine. for fucks sake you spend more time watching the loading screen than you do anything else and no checkpoint saving system? wtf?

Spam the 'follow me!' button (playing on PC so no idea what it's on the gamepad) - they won't stop to fight and practically never get grabbed by zombies.

If you mean "Slappy", just kick him to the ground with an air kick and beat him a few times with a regular weapon. Repeat a few times and he is finished.

that seems easy enough. i was trying to throw marbles to get him to fall. seems there's a lot of stuff you can do in this game that i just dont think about. would be a top notch game if the controls weren't so draggy.
