They had a program about exorcism on british TV a while back, and it showed a video of an exorcism, it was pretty fucked up. But no head twisting or projectile vomiting.

I didn't watch it all though because it was freaking me out.

It’s not that... it's the eyes Sad they are fucked up during exorcisms

It’s like there is compassion in them but the more you look the more evil you see Sad

All of humanity you can see in the eyes of the possessed Crying or Very sad and that’s fucking scary.


The head twisting would essentially kill the host and if the host dies the demon within has no place to go but out. So it's like a very very very violent exorcism / suicide / last resort Very Happy Laughing

And projectile vomiting would also cause physical harm to the host Cool

How do you know that shit about the eyes if you've never seen an exorcism. I think your just imagining what you want the victim of possession to look like, either that or you've watched too many horror films.

Personally I think it's a load of bollocks anyway and is probably related to a psychological disorder and/or drug use.

Erm, the programme was called 'exorcism- the true story' or something. Was a while ago though so I could be wrong.

Meh, I find exorcisms to be pure non-sense. To be honest I think those people have a mental condition which is then just made worse by doing the exorcism. I've seen real life videos of them, and the "host" looks pretty fucking stupid. It's obvious they are doing it on purpose, or they are doing it for some other reason then being possessed by the devil.

The host is in a trance; unaware of its surroundings. Most if not all of all these exorcisms are performed on very religious families; those who are faithful to the church and Holy Father.

So when their offspring starts acting weird it is not a natural thing that can be explained by science. It is demons work. And so an exorcist must be called. It is a mental condition but you can’t really enforce a scientific study on something that’s controlled by the church. I mean it’s like explaining the big bang theory to them. They won’t believe that bull shit. God made this planet / universe and that’s final anything else is just blasphemy. So when you tell a religious family that their offspring is mentally ill they won’t believe you. They want to, but they can’t. There isn’t a mention of a pill that would ease the pain of the mind in the holy bible therefore a pill cannot help their offspring.

Religion fucks people up. It is fun to believe in something but a line has to be drawn. And now it’s too late to draw it Crying or Very sad

Yeah but most religions have forbidden exorcisms didnt they? Catholic Priests never want to talk about it, there are only a few that actually do this.

Possesed is when a human is bound with an evil spirit that has taken control over the person.

Excorcism is when people for ex priests drive the evil spirit out with the help of god.

Well, I honestly can't see what the fuss is about.

I hear three tracks on this wma: praying, clicking camera and, what I believe to be, an excerpt from a horror movie. I might be able to prove it too... @ 2.28 to 2.30 the "possessed" actually says something. I can't quite make it out though, however it doesn't sound like Russian (and yes, I do speak it). To me, it actually sounds like "*gibberish* come back for me". Maybe someone with better ears can make it out. I've tried some basic sound restoration techniques with no luck. Anyway, if it truly is English - then a) why would a Russian girl scream in English? and b) all we need to do is find the actual sound byte. Also, it might be interesting to note, that faking this would be extremely easy.
