Maybe 2k should have released the highest setting in that config file, or at least au pair with the console version, then this confusion wouldn't have happened.

I'm thinking about increasing the Jordan challenges to 12 minutes via Tsearch as people say they can be too hard as they are capped to 8, 10 minutes would probably be enough, it worked for my player in 2k10.
Will try it when I get the game.

Why don't people buy games if they deserve the purchase?

Yeah, but back then games were good, and developers were not afraid to show their games. Nowadays they know, if they release a demo, it will hurt sales.

We've hit a threshold when it comes to game technology. Most games are developed for consoles that have limited capabilities (old GPU, lack of memory for textures etc.) which means that multiplatform games are stuck on 360/PS3 technology. PC ports are stuck with console level graphics.

You can tell me whatever you want but these shots don't have the quality of the console screens. Just look at the shadows. They are blurred out and become sharper towards the player (which is nice and correct) but they don't get any darker! On the console those shadows become darker  And on Consoles you can see the sweat... It's just a simple specular texture but on PC there is just a weird and ugly whitening effect instead of shining sweat At least the PC screens look like that.
Could someone of the guys take a closeup picture of a player? I want to be sure if they changed the gfx from console to PC. (And I doubt that those two points I mentioned could be changed with different LOD setup...)

It has been confirmed, pc version is exactly the same as console version, I guess it's just the matter od tweaking the cfg.
