How To Train Your Dragon - 9/10
Am I alone in thinking this movie is way better than Toy Story 3. In fact, for the first time ever I'm actually rooting for a non-Pixar film to take the Best Animation Oscar.
It's leaps and bound ahead of all the other Dreamworks animations with some beautiful design work, one of the best scores of the year courtesy of John Powell and some really nice subtlety in the storytelling. The scenes where Hiccup and Toothless are first bonding gave me a serious lump in my throat and a tear in the eye. A very unexpected surprise!

Splice - 4/10 - the movie tries to be a morally ambigious story with strong drama, but it's nothing more than a weak attempt. Overall it's more ridiculous than interesting.

Not seen TS3 but i LOVED this. TS3 would need to be very good to compete.
Couldnt help but think it would have been even better in 3D!

3d wasn't that good. saw it 3 times in theatres with a little one. and then twice at home on hd.
Stick to hd. The little things are in 3D, nothing major.

How to train your Dragon - 9/10
I have to agree, the movie is very well made, both visually and emotionally.
I think I liked it more than Up or Wall-E.

I liked it, but up and wall-e almost made me cry, and how to train your dragon didn't...
