^^ It's consoles only problem. The same happened last year.Freezes are frequent on consoles.Pc version is ready to be sold here in Greece.Saw some copies in a box.Hopefully it will be on shelves this afternoon.
it has to be better than nba 2k10. i played whole season in MyPlayer on PC and even a ton of frustration of bugs i liked it. even if i could score 87 points by myself. i hope that AI will be improved, scoring in match will be balanced, and crashes will not occured.
Know what you mean, been playing it for last couple of days on X360, basically learning everything. The controls are a bit easier than last year I think, but it still requires a bit of deterination to suck it up and learn how to play. It's worth it, though, because it's incredibly rewarding when everything clicks together and you perform nice play finished with a basket. Great feeling.
easier than last year? what will be next? 100% scoring chance? autodribbler? nba 2k10 was easy. after 10-20 games you could win every game in MyPlayer, as long as computer allows you to play instead of simulate result. to increase difficulty you had to choose to play in worst nba team with no good shooters. that gave you opportunity to finish with close result. doing games easier kill them. it will be hard to play more than 1 season playing easy game
NBA 2K11 has much more than I can talk about in one review. All you need to know that this is one of the best sports games ever made, maybe even the best one period. I have to give it to the folks at 2K and Visual Concepts because they continue to keep innovating and pushing themselves. Whether its all the spectacular new dunks you will see this year, the new IsoMotion dribbling controls, or the improvements to NBA Today its all there, they are never happy with what they did last year. If you are an NBA Live/Elite fan, this year might not be a bad year to try something new because this really is a special game. NBA 2K11 is now the new gold standard for sports games and because of that we give it 9.5 out of 10.
But this is all getting away from the important thing: There isn't a better modern basketball game on the market and even brushing the lack of competition aside, NBA 2K11 shows an incredible amount of polish and attention to what makes this genre work. It's about ease of play execution, realistic physics and resistance in the paint. NBA 2K11 offers all of this and for schooled ballers, it's an unparalleled game.
Looks like Skidrow released crack. I don't know is this true or false. Lets wait game now
NBA 2K11 Crack Only SKIDROW.rar
If you mean the one on the newsgroups I can confirm to you it's a fake (what a surprise )
Bought NBA 2k10 last year but after waiting for a patch for what felt like a decade I'll 'demo' it first this year. If it's good or the support is adequate this time around I'll buy it later (besides that I can't find it for sale anywhere here nor is it on Steam/Gamersgate yet so even if I wanted to buy it it'd be difficult).
I'm running out of official reviews so here is a user one:
ADG24's NBA 2K11 Review
Presentation
I must say 2K really stepped it up this year in the Presentation department. Earlier we heard how they hired a TNT employee to help them make the game feel more like you are watching a game on TV and man they got it down to perfection. It truly feels like you are watching a game on TNT and the commentary is much more improved this year.
Graphics
Graphics are a bit better than year's past in my opinion the major difference is how bright and clear the game is. You can clearly see how each player now looks like it's real life counterpart and each arena looks simply amazing.
Sounds
2K did a great job this year providing us with a great soundtrack, so when you pop in the game for the first time and as you continue to play you will not get tired of the songs you will hear in the background... even though as you play this game a lot it will get repetitive, but a tremendous job by 2K this year.
As I mentioned previously commentary is much more improved and the arena sounds are a whole lot better than in years past. 2K gives us the option to play our own Arena Sounds, but out of the box the arena sounds are pretty close to what you hear in each arena.
Gameplay
I cannot emphasize enough how great this game is and when it comes down to it the major improvement this year was done to gameplay. In my case I have been playing 2K for years and years (since 2K3), but this is by far the best experience I've had playing a basketball video game. I tell you, EA made a huge mistake letting Wang go as he has brought over the things that Live (Elite) had going on their advantage.
When you first play this game it's going to feel like 2K and Live (Elite) had a baby and this is the result. 2K really did a great job this year getting it all down the defense, the iso-motion controls, the shot sticks... everything is near perfection. I have spent hours in practice mode trying to master all the iso-moves and all the features that the shot stick now features and man I don't get tired of it.
The only negative things I can say about the gameplay is the rebound animation and the wide open looks that do not go down IF you do not adjust the sliders. I have not played one bit with the sliders as FOR NOW I don't think is necessary I've been playing on Simulation, Pro and it's playing great, but it is hard to hit wide open looks, so a little slider adjustment should take care of this.
The rebounding animation is probably the one thing that will bother you when you play the game as big men jump just as high as Vince Carter or JR Smith, so their jump looks a bit unrealistic when going for blocks or rebounds... not a game killer as you get used to it.
Final Thoughts
This game will keep you busy for a while as you try to rebuild a franchise in the association mode, try to relieve some of Jordan greatest moments in The Jordan Chalenge, try to become the next NBA MVP in My Player mode or jump online to compete against the best in pick up games or in league play... 2K has really, really take care of all of your basketball needs with NBA 2K11 now it's time to sit back, relax and play some basketball!
Online will be great.
