ok i played it for a while and there is no saving the controls. there is no excuse for it. NFSU 2, gta,and just about every other driving game has great controls. i don't see how anyone can have the patience to finish the undercover mode. i would smash my pc out of anger before i got anywhere close to beating it. after 3 missions i'm really fed up. at least brothers in arms is pretty good.

Is there any way of changing the controls in the Preferred column? I can only change the controls in the Alternative column, which sucks donkey balls because I'd like to set two buttons on some actions.

The controls in this game are absolutely horrendous. I'll only mention the horrendous driving controls here.
I am using the MS Precision Pro USB and:
#1. return to center tension is NOT present at all, the wheel is limp
#2. dead zone is INSANELY huge and unchangeable rendering my wheel pointless
I can't believe a game called DRIVER has made using a gamepad more enjoyable over using a freaking steering wheel.

driver3 aint so bad the graphics look pretty nice when you put 6xaf and 16x AA on and its still smooth for me and i dont get jerks when its loading the scenery i think some people have less than a gig of ram still.
its fun to load up the game just to have a drive around the city while your stoned causing mayhem and destruction.
i cant say the missions have apealed to me yet though i have only done the first to but i think i will go back to them later just to watch the little movie sequences and cut scenes.
all in all the game aint to shabby but its not brilliant either i would give it 6.5/10 worth getting if you want to blast around a city and watch the replys after.
buy it for the game and your wasting your money oh shit i forgot this is a site where people wont be buying anyway lol well worth a download imo unless your 56k or have a sucky amount of credits on your site.

Hi
I ve a problem with mission in Nice where I have to steal 3 cars and park them into a truck. Last car position is bad that I can't make it on time. Is there any trick how to do this mission on time? Any advise?
AND

If you crash on the motorcycle on the way to the first car, just restart the mission. You want to get to the first car and get it out of the parking garage either before or just as the truck passes.
Once the first car is in, hit 'E' to get out immediately and look for another motorcycle. If you can't find another motorcycle, then take any car and find a motorcycle while heading to the next car.
Motorcycles make this mission a whole lot easier.
If you can get to the last car with about 1 km to go, you should be able to catch the truck just at or after the switchback.
And you don't have to get the last car onto the truck..just be there when he enters the hideout.

Just played this at 8xs aa and 16x af
Image is very good
Only bad is the background sometimes........its like tomb raider 1,2 graphics
And the controls are ok for me
