(I posted it via a edit in my message along with a explanation about how it's not cracked or anything and will require a valid LIVE key to function with that, which you posses since you own the game, just sign in and it should be OK and pick up the previous registration info.)

I just DLed the game and LIVE is working but obviously would need a unique key. MY question is will I still get achievements as I did in Dirt 2? LIVE was working on dirt 2 but also didnt have unique key and got achievements.

As someone who never played the first one, i must say im disapointed. They put endless possibilities to explore, the gameplay is fantastic, and the weapons are insanely fun to use... But the time constraint is a pain in the ass. It's like they're trying to sell a ferrari, but it's tank can hold only a gallon of fuel :/
Im still in the beginning, and i have 4 ppl to rescue, but i have time to rescue only one of them, or else i can't complete the main mission... fuck!

Im still trying to "dig" the game because of the awesome gameplay... But it was the perfect game to unwind, killing endless hordes of zombies... but you have to worry with the time to get zombrex, to rescue ppl, to do the main missions.... holy shit, i'm turning into a lol wut

Any way to get rid of the 999.999.999 money? I thought it'd only freeze the money but I would still need to earn it first and now I'm stuck with 1 billion.. Guess I could spam the 2 million keys in the pawnshop but that would take a long time.

Don't want to start over from scratch since I'm level 15.

You need 3 hunks of meat from the store nearby, just throw one in front of you and once he's eaten it, throw the next. After the third he'll be tamed and join you =)

Steak* to be specific.

Since I'm not sure if it can be any kind of meat.

Darn, just tried my GTAIV key, and yeah it didn't work.

Oh well, don't really need the multiplayer anyways.

Alternate attack? I didn't even know about alternate attacks.

On another note, did anyone have this issue with antialiasing? When I turn it on, I get these blinking glitches everywhere, like the lighting is glitching up with the AA. I'm on a 9800GT, newest drivers. Weird issue.

Blur seems to be bugged on the latest nvidia drivers. If you turn it on, it seems to mess everything up.

Not a big deal though, since the blur effect in this game is shit and drops the framerate. No reason for blur on the PC version anyways since we have AA.

ok finished it... it kinda makes sense to have a timer because without a sense of direction the game becomes stale extremely quickly when left to your own devices without restriction.

i dicked around for an hour with the trainer and just checked out the surroundings and gathered weapons and went on killing sprees etc. and was almost ready to delete the game because of the boredom.

probably won't be going back to it but it was fun while it lasted... now i realize it was mainly because i felt rushed to do everything i could before time ran out.

Blur is used to hide low framerates, not aliasing Exclamation

Yeah, but in the case of DR2; blur CAUSES low framerates Laughing

Same difference.

You see the blur effect on console games because they can't push any AA or else the framerates would tank. It also hides the lower res textures.

One in the same.

Give it a few weeks, we'll see the Infinite Mode added as DLC for the 360 version. None for the PC, of course, because - like Capcom says - piracy is #1!!!11

Aye, pretty much. I've been using the trainer and, every once in a while, putting time back 1hr and then checking the watch to make sure it "took". Been working like a charm and I've only needed to it do it a handful of times.
