1. get x360ce posted earlier
2. unpack it to your dead rising 2 directory
3. start the program, load 360 default
4. turn force feedback off
5. turn native mode off
6. save, exit, run dead rising 2.
7. turn the controller on in the pc settings menu."
every time i try and fix the settings in 360ce it crashes so idk wth going on maybe some one else could give it a go |
Managed to get my wireless 360 controller working; had to switch Fake API mode to compatibility in additional to the steps above.
Do you have the latest version of the program, found here: http://code.google.com/p/x360ce/downloads/list ?

I've had that problem... Somehow the games volume is turned way down. When the game 1st started the volume was normal up to the point where you have to cut down as many zombies as you can on your bike. I’ve had to turn my speakers up all the way from that point on. |
Funny, I've got the low volume only in cutscenes. |
It gets fairly annoying after a while and even more so when I receive a message on xfire or when I shut the game down and forget I had turned my speakers up all the way lol
I've checked all my driver's and they are up to date and I have also check the sound mixer in windows 7 to see if it’s the same problem prototype had where the volume was turned down with no luck. I have also tried playing with the quality settings in control panel which didn’t really change anything ether.

There is a trainer on GCW, lock time (Also possible to advance time via hours and minutes.), unlimited health, ammo, item health, unlimited survivor health and some other options.

How fucking hard is it to add an option to configure your keyboard controls!? And Capcom wonders why nobody is buying their PC games.
Anybody know which file will let you configure the control binds?

+ on that. Is there any way to fix it? Or should we wait for proper scene release? I really really need GFWL, 'cause I'm gonna buy only the key, so normal crack would be useful.

guys im having problem with the trainer (from gcw), im just at the beginning where u have to find zombrex in 1 hour and even if time is frozen to 7 am by the trainer, after a while a sequence shows the little girl becoming an undead as if the time as passed... The trainer works, or at least it says so; should I use it later or that freezing time option sucks balls ? thx in advance.

Okay this is odd. After installing the game and running it, I get a MSVCR100.dll file is missing error.... I tried installing visual c++ 2010 and setting back my audio settings to 16bit,96000 but still nothing
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Anything above 48000 apparently crashes from what I've read, 24-bit is fine, unsure why that file error happens but copying it over to the game folder seems to work for those who get that issue.

Yeah, that happened to me too. That option is clearly broken. Even though it stops the time on the watch at 7:00, the missions time slider will continue to drop. Just use the "decrease clock hours" option instead, but be warned. I decreased too many hours that i ended up with no zombies in the mall. I had to load an earlier save to resolve the issue. It appears that the timer is tied to the core functions of the game. God, why couldn't they just keep this shit out the sequel. I hated in the first game too. That's why i never bothered to finish it.

I removed the game just because every mission is timed and you can't enjoy playing the game withut worring how much you have to do the main mission or to give the medicine to your daughter! Very bad, because I really wanted to play the game!

Don't bother using H4xor's trainer. It bugs the game. After i got the Zombrex, i gave it to Katey but nothing happens. The mission arrow still points at her but you can't click on her again. I think it's going to take a while till we get a proper trainer that doesn't interfere with the game like this.

Disabling time freeze temporarily before talking to a important character or trigger a event might work, or you might also have to set it to the proper time before trying.
(7 in the evening or when her zombrex dosing was supposed to take place.)

I think if you go away from the safehouse new missions will appear and you can select one of them (as the marked one)

Are you guessing or have you actually tried this out with the trainer?

I had the same thing fixed it by downloading this http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcr100
1.unrar
2.put msvrc100.dll in C:\WINDOWS\system
3.Launch game
it worked for me, good luck |
Thanks djcyrax... it worked Nice game, escorting people while your own health is low is really nerve wracking!!
1 and 2 are still amazing.

yuri999 see if one of the persons can be carried.
that way the zombies can't cling on to you just tap you a bit.
low piece of health falls off...
or find a wheelchair.
one of the people will sit in em and you can kill zombies wit that one
